claritin question

I'm not sure if I've ever given Tess Claritin before but I gave her a half dose about an hour ago, right before nap time.  OMG DOES IT HAVE CRACK IN IT?!?!?! She is bouncing off the freaking walls.  I ASSuMEd that it would make her drowsy.  What is your experience with Claritin?

    Never had that affect.  I have heard Benedryl having that affect.  I would NOT give that to her again unless you need her awake for three days.

    yeah, currently counting my lucky stars that I only gave her a half dose and not the full thing.

    Our doc said I could give Ella a half dose to help dry out her chest and nose a few weeks ago. She was a NUT all.day.long. I mean, she's 13 months old and didn't nap ALL DAY! We will not be taking that again unless she can't breath at all.

    Kya has it most nights. I have never had that problem. But she loves to sleep. She will tell me at 7pm that she is ready for bed. love it.
