anyone else confusing LO movement with gas?

I just have to ask. I feel movement going on, but honestly it could very well be gas because I AM ALWAYS GASSY! Ugh. It is so embarrassing! Our little boy is a mover ( every U/S has demonstrated this) but honestly can't tell the difference right now. Anyone else the same?

Yep. The only reason why I'm blaming it on baby (and not gas) is because it's in the same area, it feels consistently the same, and it's not followed up by a huge fart later.

I finally felt some movement on Sunday night. At first I thought it was gas but then it progressed to feeling more like hiccups or popcorn popping in my abdomen.

I agree that it finally convinced me it wasn't gas b/c I didn't fart either.

LOL! For the longest time, I couldn't tell the difference. Now, I'm getting pretty good at distinguishing between baby girl & my lunch.

Oh you will be able to tell for sure soon! Gas doesn't make your whole belly move haha. Also it's weird when they start rolling around.

I could't tell the difference for a few weeks. Now i can definitely tell the difference, baby has gotten MUCH stronger- if I ever have gas the feels like this then I have major issues :P

No, I knew immediately. For me, the baby doesn't feel like gas. I guess the baby kicks me in areas where I don't normally experience gas?? And I am a gassy person too!
