July 2011 Moms

So I bought this dress on ebay

The seller is making it into a maternity dress for me and hemming it (I'm only 5'0). Now I'm panicking that it's going to look like a toga party costume or a huge table cloth (I'll be 9 months for the wedding).

  • I love it!  It will be nice and airy for the heat of the summer Smile

  • I have to admit the whole 1 sleeve thing is NMS.  That said I love the pattern and think it will look nice.

  • Can you not have her alter it and send it to you as is, and take it somewhere local for alterations, you might get a better vibe putting it on first

I'd love this for an evening dress! It looks comfy too

  • Oh good, you did end up getting it!

You'll pull it off for sure. You got style...and I remember a dress you wore last summer for a wedding I think (the green one?) I think it was one shoulder. It looked great on you!!

  • I like it...I don't think it would look too toga-ish, as long as it fits right and is accessorized well. I think it takes a certain person to pull off a dress like that, but I'm guessing you can!

I also really like the back-up.
