exercise check in

So all you ladies who exericse, hows it going? What kind of exercises are you doing and are you finding its getting harder yet or still going good. Hope its going well for everyone! :)

  • Ugh. That's how it's going. 

    I'm really finding it hard to get motivated. I ran another 3 miles on Saturday and then we did housework all day Sunday. I really wanted to go running today.... and then I sat down. Embarrassed

    Oh, and then I ate a ton of chinese food. 

    Tomorrow I plan on running right after work and then Thursday I'm headed back to spin class!

  • I've been walking 3-3.5 miles a day.  I try to walk every day, but I typically only get 5 days a week in.
  • Pre-pregnancy, I was training for a marathon.  When I got that positive test, DH decided that I'm not allowed to run anymore since it might "jar the baby" (his words not mine!)!!!  So now he's confined me to only walking with my 2lb weights.  I'm trying to do a couple miles 3-4 times a week, but it's starting to get harder to get motivated.

  • sounds great ladies! Are any of you using a heart monitor?  If so, whats your heart rate sitting at?
  • Just got back! Did my 30 minutes on the eliptical, 15 minutes of weight training, and ran 1/3 of a mile at a VERY slow pace haha. It's hard to get myself going in the mornings, but it feels so good once I'm there!
  • I've been hiking in the mountains during the weekends, and walking in the neighborhood about 3 times during the week. I have no idea what my heart rate is, but I just make sure that I feel good. When we hike up hill, I go slow. DH is more patient with me at my slower pace than normal - I'm really not that slow, he is just so freaking fast and has much longer legs than me!!
