  Thanks for the feedback! The naming tradition is very important to my husband, though, and with our last name, which is just one syllable, the name order has a much better rhythm with James going first.

  I'm not a big fan of the "going by middle name" thing though, and I like James a lot better than Nolan.  But it's a fine, solid name.

  Love it!!!  DS is Nolan.  :-)  And I have always loved James.  But also, I have family members that go by their middle names too.
