I still have a gift certificate to Becoming Mom that I was given at my baby shower for DS.. I never got around to using it (and we were team green so I was nervous if we did a 3d u/s we might accidentally find out the sex) then I totally forgot about it...
It doesn't expire until July... DH gets to decide with this baby if we find out the sex since I decided NOT to last time.. And he definitely wants to know (boo.. I desperately DONT want to)
I thought about going for the u/s for gender determination... Says as early as 16 weeks??? They guarantee results or your money back... Just seems really early.
So I guess my questions are... How was your experience?? If you found out that early did time go really slow for the rest of your pregnancy?? Anyone let DH find out but you didn't? How did it go?? I'm considering this.... TIA

Re: Anyone been to Becoming Mom???
I went when I was 32 weeks preggo.. and it was for a massage. At that point, I really needed one, so that was lovely.
Anyway, I didn't do the 3d/4d u/s there because my OB's office does them. But they were very nice and I'd go back!
I went there with both kids to find out the gender. I would highly recommend it!
ETA: My friend let her DH find out, but she didn't want to know. He ended up dropping enough subtle hints (without meaning to) that she knew it was a boy before he was born. Still fun for them though. Good luck deciding
i went to becoming mom at sixteen weeks. their website said you only get fifteen minutes. but, our tech spent thirty minutes with us because lily would not uncross her legs. but they were right on the money. girl.
p.s. sorry for the no caps or numerals. i am posting from my phone and it wont let me make caps or numbers when i post on the bumb.
I went at 18 weeks for my gender determination & it was the BEST money I ever spent. Course I also REALLY wanted to know the sex so I couldn't wait. I loved it there! Everyone was BEYOND nice & so much more relaxing, nice compared to the hospital ultrasound places. Big screens, comfy couches for family & the dvd was the best $15 I ever spent.
I also bought a ton of maternity clothes from there as well- that you can wear also after baby. They were a bit pricey but I liked that they served a dual purpose! I wish I could give you my stork credits to there!
What's funny is that I had scheduled a "surprise" couple massage & another 3d/4d ultrasound for Kevin's birthday which was February 25th - I went into labor on Feb 18th & delivered on the 21st - I think he got an even better surprise!!
I liked my gender determination so much that I got my cousin/best friend a gift certificate there for her gender determination as a shower thank you gift - FYI she went at 16 weeks & they would not do the 4d images on her they said it was too early. So if you are interested in those kind of images I would wait a little bit. They did do it for me at 18 weeks though.
Ditto this. LOVED the massage. I also did a mani/pedi. No u/s though.
