recommendations for nursing tanks

I've been circulating 7 or so nursing tanks from Target since DD was born. Well, now that they're all faded and milk-stained, I would like to upgrade to something that is more fitted through the waist and provides some more support. More colors would be great, too. Any advice would be fantastic!

Re: recommendations for nursing tanks

  • I used old navy built in bra tanks and they worked awesome and were only $8.00.  I didn't like the slotted holes on the nsg tanks and didn't want to spend $50+ on 1.

  • Similar to PP, I just wear cami's with built in bras from WalMart in the Junior section.  They provide great tummy support and doesn't get hot under regular shirts here in FL.  They cost $6 each and come in a wide variety of colors. Since the neckline is stretchy I can just pull the cami down, pull my bra down, and lift up my regular shirt. They work great.

  • Check out Motherhood Maternity.  I bought a padded (removable), non-shelf nursing tank that I love.  It's more fitted but sadly only comes in black or white, so I just use it as an undershirt.  It also has convertible straps so you can wear it under different types of tank tops.  https://www.motherhood.com/Product.asp?Product_Id=935060362&MasterCategory_Id=MC29

They also have one that has a stretchy neckline that I like too.  That one comes in green, navy, pink and a floral pattern.  https://www.motherhood.com/Product.asp?Product_Id=93920Z10362&MasterCategory_Id=MC29

Check them out online, in some malls or in BRU.

  • Bravado.  Comfortable and MUCH more flattering than the target ones.  I would rather have one or two quality tanks than a bunch of cheap ones.
  • Bravado.  I like that they are a little thicker and that your boobs look nice in them, like you have a bra on.  This makes me more comfortable at home in them when I have to answer the door or run outside to the car, etc.    They also wash really well.  I've had the same 4 since DS was born 8 months ago and they still look pretty new despite me wearing them literally every day.

They are worth the extra money.

Don't screw around, get the Bravado tank. I have 4 of them and its the only one that is comfortable and supportive (i have big boobs). The pic online is misleading, mine fits snugly.

Ditto this. I personally HATED the target ones - not good for a big bust. I went through a ton of cheaper ones before I found Bravado. More $ but so worth it - I basically live in them the days I'm home.
