I want to run a 5K in May but I need to know how to train so that it doesnt effect my supply. The supply issue is very important because I am BFing twins and just barely have enough milk.
Exercise has never impacted my supply. I started running again at 4 wks & reintroduced hot vinyasa yoga at 6 wks. Just make sure you are eating enough & drinking tons of water. As PP said, ease in slowly. Good luck!
I'm training for a half marathon in May. I make sure to stay hydrated & I don't limit calories - I eat healthy when I'm hungry. I've been running/exercising since 6 wks PP & haven't had supply problems.
