in reference to the donkey post...
A few of y'all (and I am not talking about the OP) replied that several of us are "mean and angry" (that was Gracein CA) and "a$$es" (that was Nickert). And some other things were said also.
Kinda rubs me the wrong way. I may not get along with everyone on this board but I don't think anyone is mean. I think we all offer information and advice and sometimes some snark.
I think you two girls should man up and say who you are talking about. Or shut up. Just my opinion.

Exactly, why beat around the bush.....I am still new to the site; and I have learned so much on it; and am so thankful for all the advice I have gotten. If you don't like the site; or people on the boards, you don't have to participate.

I think you mean gaggle of turds.
I think with any group of women there are going to be disagreements.
In my group of IRL friends we disagree on everything from when to TTC, how to give birth, whether to formula feed or breastfeed, whether to let our kids eat junk food etc. BUT that doesn't mean we can't still be friends. In fact, I kind of like that we all have different perspectives and can discuss them openly without character attacks or name calling. I expect nothing less from the women on this board. I think that we can agree to disagree with grace, and let it go.

This is from a noob view point:
When I first started posting here I was really sensative to some of the snarky comment that was left on a few of my first posts. But I didn't let it get to me. If you had a low post count you were a "target" for certain replies from the ladies that have been here for awhile.
It is just what happens when you get a bunch of women on a public forum. that are all are TTGP. It happens. But to say people here are mean and a$$es... Hellz no!!! The girls I have talked to here are amazingly patient with us noobs and SO helpful!
Sure there are a few that are more snarky than others.. but that's just their personality and you have to over look it.
I would encourage all the new ones to get in chat and get to know everyone! Dont ask stupid questions and you won't get flamed.
I have made SO many new friends here and I have learned SO much!! (Thanks to everyone that put up with me
) I will take the snarks with the learning expierence any day!!

The comments I put in bold are rather hypocritical and kind of help my point.
And if you read what I said. I said there are some and there are. Just look at the replies that come along that are nasty which around here people prefer to call "snarky", PIP's that are rude, the various
that show up, sarcastic comments, etc. And how often does anyone say anything about? [this I actually find rather sad]
Really there is no need for it. Instead just keep comments or pictures to yourself and move on.
Apparently "If you can not say something nice don't say anything at all" does not apply when some people are online or maybe they need the online attention and belittling to help them feel better?
