Chapped lips? chapstick ok?

DS is 14 months old, his lips are really chapped ( from teething) is chapstick ok to use on him?

Thanks!

  • Completely, esp something "natural" like Burts Bees- even just vaseline. I used to put it on DD when she was sleeping since she hated it so much at that age. Also Lansinoh (sp?) nipple ointment if you have any.

  • Chapstick is really just a protectant, not a healing ointment.

We use Aquaphor for anything and everything = great stuff!

Although - promo - I just got a sample Mrs.Meyers Baby Blossom "lips and cheek balm" stick (for our dry cheeks) and it's great too. It is a little less slick and shiny than Aquaphor which is nice.

  • I was going to suggest Lansinoh too.  Our ped suggested it back in the day.

We use Aquaphor too! And by "we," I mean that I use it on myself and Max!
