Completely, esp something "natural" like Burts Bees- even just vaseline. I used to put it on DD when she was sleeping since she hated it so much at that age. Also Lansinoh (sp?) nipple ointment if you have any.
Chapstick is really just a protectant, not a healing ointment.
We use Aquaphor for anything and everything = great stuff!
Although - promo - I just got a sample Mrs.Meyers Baby Blossom "lips and cheek balm" stick (for our dry
cheeks) and it's great too. It is a little less slick and shiny than
Aquaphor which is nice.
