I am 13 weeks, 4 days pregnant and have been having painful intercourse with my husband because of how dry I've been. The other day it literally felt like i was even missing skin just outside my vagina. My OBGYN isn't in today but I have an appointment on Wednesday so I'm going to see what she says, too. I just wanted to know if anyone else had this happen to them? I'm so uncomfortable and in pain constantly. I don't know what to make of it and I'm very frustrated. (I'm also a nymphomaniac and love sex more than my husband does so it makes it that much worse.) Sorry for all the "TMI" but I just don't know what to make of it. Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you.
Re: A bit detailed but I don't know what to do...
Get some lube and go to town.
Haha about the nymphomaniac part- how do you get your husband to comply? Does he ever initiate? ...Mine just shoo's me away and I'm extra in need of lovin' when pregnant
- But he stay's home with the toddler all day so claims that zaps the drive right out of him...
Little bit of KY hasn't hurt anybody though and is perfectly safe to use while pregnant.
Thank you very much. I'm prone to YI so it could possibly be. However, I'm not thrilled if it is, at least I know that those are curable. I'll post again after the appointment to let you know how things turn out.
i'm prone to yi's while pregnant but once that's all cleared up dryness is still a problem sometimes...
just lube it up...
Hii, it's normal.
The other day my husband and I were having intercourse and it was so painful because I was really dry but just wait for the days you feel more "comfortable." or if its really a pressing issue try some lube, as someone before stated?
A few nights ago I was FINALLY in the mood after 14 weeks of pregnancy and while it felt good initially, I had the worst cramps afterwards. Just try to find something that's comfortable and enjoyable for you both. It might take a while but dont get frustrated
Lube is safe during pregnancy.... but no never had that problem. I have been "drier" at times, but not like that- sounds awful. But I am sure it's nothing to worry about.
