I plan on it. BUT... 1) I'm using my wedding photographer, a seasoned pro and 2) I DO NOT plan to share them with anyone. They are for me and my husband only.

Heck yes. I only get to be pregnant a few times in my life, if not just this once, and I want pictures to remember it. I will be using someone much better than those you posted a link too. I am not sure I want pictures of my belly actually exposed in them.

to answer my own post - we won't. I have never been a fan of maternity photos and would rather spend the money on professional photos once baby is here, not when I'm blown up like a whale. Stick out tongue

Because we are using our wedding photographer, she waives her "fee for time" for repeat customers and we pay only for the photos we choose. It's a nice deal.

If finances permit, yes. What I'd really like to do is find someone who offers a combo maternity/newborn package. I don't want a TON of either - a whole session with like 100 mat photos is more than I need - but some of each would be nice to have. I will not be sharing any exposed belly shots, should they be taken, with anyone besides DH and maybe our close circle of friends/family. (They will especially not be going on Facebook!)

I hope to before my friend leaves in August but they will not be racy at all. I didn't do anything with DD but take bump pics and I regret it.

NOOOOOOO! One of my friends had some done by an otherwise great photographer. Some of them were sweet, but a lot of them were just really awkward and unflattering. Too many of those pictures end up on awkwardfamilyphotos.com

Yes, and use the same photographer for the newborn photos. I won't be doing any naked ones. They will just be DH and I. Why not? It is our last chance to do photos just the 2 of us and this is a great moment I want to remember.

Those are hilarious.

I'm kind of indifferent about it. The only thing I'd do with them is AW them on FB and show them to my kids (look what you did to my body! jerks!) so I don't want to spend a lot. I have a couple people in mind for newborn/6 month/1 year photos and I'll just see what kind of packages they offer and if it's only a little bit extra, I'll probably spring for mat photos and get a feel for their working style and how our personalities mesh.

My wedding photographer was awesome but there is no way I'm paying that much again, especially since I'm quitting my job.

Still undecided. IF I do, it will be done by a very professional photographer and there will be no nude belly pics. They would be more my engagement pics, but with me pregnant.

No. I'm never a fan of the way they turn out. I'd rather spend the money on awesome newborn pics with someone who specializes in them (my wedding photographer was awesome, but he cost an arm and a leg and specializes in, you know, weddings).

Probably not - although my SIL is getting married when I am 8 months, so I am hoping we can get a nice shot of me and MH from that. Hopefully she will be okay with it, especially since we are willing to pay for the actual picture. I know I was happy to have the photographer go take pictures of someone else for a little while.

My cousin just had a baby and sent out her maternity shots. They were a little more than I think I would feel comfortable sharing with people. No one needs to see a picture of you without a top on, even if you are covering your boobs.

I'm a photographer I do maternity photos, I didn't have any done with my dd for some reason. The photos that I do are outdoor portraits, no nudity and rarely any bare belly shots. I also do newborn photos too if anyone is in Maryland *tooting own horn* rachelgarayphotography.com

might be hard to do newborn photos after the end of October though, for a little while anyway

We haven't decided yet. Financially, I'd prefer newborn pics, but if I could find a photographer who did a combo I'd probably do both. My mom has no pictures pregnant with me, but she does of my brother and I get a kick out of seeing how ginormous she was and still so cute. I've been collecting some options for years, but now am thinking more about our wedding photographer since we picked her because of her amazing portrait skills.

SS - I have a family friend who is taking my photos this summer... I'll be around 20-something weeks when the photos are taken, so maybe a tiny bump. Then later on I'll make my hubby take pictures of me. haha So, yes, but I'm not spending a dime - that's the kinda deal I like! Especially since I might be in MA school by then...

I will come to this post with my apparently unpopular opinion of HELLS to the no.

I just don't know what you *do* with them. Maybe a nice idea in theory to preserve your pregnant self (although I really don't feel that urge), but the ones I've seen always come out kind of tacky and self-congratulatory, and as a PP put it, on Awkward Family Photo websites. They get forwarded amongst non-pregnant people (like me, 12 weeks ago) with giggles and disdain.

It just seems kind of odd to me, the whole concept. So I'll do my HDBD shots in the mirror, and after that, I think I'm all set.

Yes I plan on having them done, but by a seasoned professional and depending on how I feel about my body I probably will share them, or at least get one made up to hang in our house.

For me this might be my only pregnancy so I am going to do it up!

Depends how big I get

With twins I feel like I may be huge rather early. I might aim for like 25 weeks when I still have a decent looking bump! Then I can just take my own pictures from then on

Nope, I am not really a fan and feel like they will just sit in a box somewhere collecting dust anyway. We only really have one framed wedding photo out even. Our wall space is mostly taken up with family photos and pictures of DS, and he is only one, I imagine after this baby is born we will need more walls. LOL.

I'd like to... I'm interested in seeing what I look like pregnant though. I'm a size 14 and don't think I'll have a cute little "bump" like thinner girls... DH dabbles in some photography and photo manipulation, so we may try some at home first to make myself feel a little more confident

Hell yeah!

Depending how I look like (stretchmarks, swelling etc), there will be skin to be seen or not - probably yes, and if I am happy with them, I will share them. If not, I don't.

My husband is a videographer and quite handy with the still camera as well and will take the pics. And for the ones of us together we will choose one of the guys who work for him now and then.

I did get photos done the first time. By my wedding photographer/boss at the time (I'm also a wedding photographer). I shared the...appropriate ones with people. The ones with my bare belly were kept to DH & I. With that said, No picture had my pants removed.

I will have them done again, this time by someone else (old boss moved) and will again share the ones that I feel are appropriate.

I will do bump pictures close to monthly or bimonthly at home just to see how I grow compared to my 1st pregnancy.

Then I will probably have my friend (professional photographer) do some... she did some beautiful ones when I was pregnant with DS. Can't wait to include DS in some when I have a bump. They aren't anything I have blown up or on a wall (b/c I'm just not that into displaying my body), but she did a cute album for us that I really like having.

Definitely will be taking some. DH and I are photographers, so we will either do it ourselves or have a friend that I work with help me do them.

I am going to do them but they will be more like engagement pictures (but with a belly). I have tons of friends that are pro-photographers so they will give me an awesome deal. None of the pictures will be bare belly. I also scored a free newborn session with a highly talented newborn photographer in my area......nothing is better than free!!
