Feeling vain? I am! (GTKY)

in Trying to Get Pregnant

CD 1 of cycle 6 is approaching (cue Jaws theme) and I was contemplating posting about how much my ovaries suck and inviting others to comment re: sucky ovaries as well. However, in an effort to be positive, I thought it would be fun to share what 3 superficial, physical, totally vain things you like about yourself :)

    Completely superficial, but sometimes a girl just needs to be reminded of her favorite (physical) attributes!

    My big BB's (haha), i'm told I have pretty eyes, and i can't think of anything else, but my DH likes my butt....does that count Embarrassed

    This a completely strange vanity...but I love that my toes are perfectly diagonally lined up (As opposed to the second toe being longer or pinky toe really short...). I also like how my leg muscles are very toned.  I don't have a third one..

    Way to bring out the positives in us all!!

    I like my blue eyes, my full lips, and my long fingers. I know the last one is weird, but I've always liked my hands a lot!

    Eyes seem to be a common one on here, but I would have to say that would be one of mine too. 2nd I like that I am petite, and 3rd, this is a weird one, I have really small feet that I think look good in all shoes.

    3 totally superficial things I love about myself are 1-my full lips, no need for collagin here! 2-My fashion sense 3- How petite I am

     Sometimes we all need to be reminded about the positives about ourselves, especailly when TTC can be stressful and at times make you hate yourself.

    1st BFP- March 2011. Natural MC @ 8 weeks
    2nd BFP- July 2011.  Chemical Pregnancy
    3rd BFP- Sep 2011. My beautiful son was born May 2012.
    4th BFP-August 2014- Due May 12, 2015

    You are so funny, that made me laugh out loud.  I am sure a size 8 would not be considered sasquatch :)  I am 5'1" also, it is a rare thing when I meet someone my height.  Good things come in small packages :)

    This is a fun ego boost in the middle of the day! I like my 1. eyebrows, 2. waist, 3. freckles. (wow - it was kind of hard to come up with a 3rd!)

    Oh boy.. I USED to like the way I looked. LOL
    I was 5'6" 112lbs NO cellulite, super flat and nicely toned stomach, sun kissed soft skin and people said I had a beautiful face. Well whatever all that meant is gone now LMAO My DH still says I'm a hot mama and he loves my boobs and butt! lol

    I love my hair; it's dark brown with natural golden and auburn highlights (I've never colored/highlighted my hair), straight, voluminous, and I never have trouble growing it.

    My eyes are hazel, mostly green, although if I wear blue they turn blue closer to the iris, and are rimmed with green on the outside. I also have long, thick eyelashes and dark, thick eyebrows. 

    OH, I forgot the third thing. My teeth. My teeth are perfectly straight and brilliantly white. Even though I haven't whitened since I got my braces off at 14, people always comment on how white they are... brushing works! Yes

    My eyes, my nose (which I used to hate...now I'm kind of glad I didn't get it re-done), and my wrists. (That last one is a little weird, but whatev.)

    I always wanted cute freckles! I have three on the left cheek that look more like a constellation than the cute sprinkling some people have.

    Good one! I love my big, blue eyes, my big boobs (helps to camouflage my belly) and my fingernails. I used to get fake nails, but now that I take pnv's, my nails are stronger and I notice that I have nice, long nail beds!

    Started TTC #1: July 2010 DX: PCOS
    BFP: 12/5/10 Natural M/C: 12/17/10 (5w6d)
    Cycle 10 - 50mg Clomid + TI = BFN
    Cycle 11 - 50mg Clomid + IUI converted to TI = BFN
    Cycle 12 - 50mg Clomid + IUI #1 = BFN
    Cycle 13 - Clomid Break + Charting + Dr. Recommendations = BFN
    Cycle 14 - Clomid Break + Charting + meeting with URO (all clear!) = BFP!!

    I love my hair.

    I have a small  scar under my left eye from when I was born and it adds "character" to my face, lol

    Last but not least, I love my waist.

    1. I love my naturally curly hair. I normally would have it straightened.  It's only been the last two years that I have finally embraced it in it's natural state.

    Lulabelle, I mostly want to write that I love your avatar!  I'm also a Bulldawg :)  I moved to AZ after I graduated.

    If I had to think of 3, it would be my eyes (per DH), my hair (my stylist nicknamed me "breck girl"), and my calves ;)

    TTC#1 since July '10. DH: Borderline Morph. Me: age 33. Hypothyroidism.
    FSH #1: 10.9 (E2 80.7). FSH #2: 11.8 (E2 72.6). FSH #3: 9.1 (E2 36)
    AMH: 2.6. AFC: ranges 9-21. HSG: clear. SHG: normal.
    After 3 failed TI cycles, 3 failed IUI cycles, a couple of c/ps, we got our sticky baby on IUI #4 (first with injects).
    Feb '12 Clomid/Menopur/Ganirelix/IVIL/Heparin/Acupuncture + IUI #4= BFP!

    Great post!  I like my flat tummy, my blue eyes, and I'm actually starting to like the laugh lines around my mouth--I'd don't know why, but they make my face look good.
