We were actually just talking about this with our Moms the other day.
I was 6lbs 6 ounces. J was 7lbs 4 ounces. I don't know how big of a role it will play. I won't complain with that though being that J's little brother was a 10 pounder.
How much did you and your DH weigh at birth?- I was 10lbs even and MH was around 9lbs
Do you think this will play a role in the weight of your future LO?- I sure hope not, but my MIL have already let me know that all of her kids were big babies so who knows!

How much did you and your DH weigh at birth? I was 10lbs. 9 oz. and I think DH was around that too, maybe a little smaller. We were both 2+ weeks late too, so that probably plays a role in it.
Do you think this will play a role in the weight of your future LO? Maybe, we're both pretty tall so I assume our child/children may be too. Maybe not though because we both have very short family members too so maybe they will get the short genes.
I weighed around 7 lbs, 14 oz. at birth DH was around 6 lbs, 12 oz. (I think).
DD was 7 lbs, 7.5 oz. I don't know if genetics played a role in it. And I gained a lot of weight during PG (45 lbs., though I was underweight when I got PG, so I was still in the acceptable range, and I lost it all within 8 weeks of giving birth). I'm hoping future LO#2 is in the same range as DD was...and also hoping not to gain as much weight next time around.

DH was something like, 7lbs 7oz. I was a week late, and 5lbs 10.5oz. My family makes little babies.
I have no idea if it'll make a difference when we have kids. We're both really short, and I'm only 120 lbs, so I'm kind of hoping they'll be slightly on the smaller side. But as long as they're healthy and not too big to push out, I'll be happy.

I dont know exactly but I was a little over 7lbs and my DH was under 7lbs.
But I dont think it makes a difference. It depends if the baby is early or late and so many other factors play a role that I just dont think that has anything to do with it. but if I could have a say in it, I'd hope our LO won't be much more than 7lbs
How much did you and your DH weigh at birth? I was 6lb, 6oz. DH was 7lb, 12oz.
Do you think this will play a role in the weight of your future LO? Probably not. My husband and my sister were the same weight, almost. She's 5'3' and 115lb and he's 6'5" and about 280lb. I don't think it has much baring on anything.
FH was 8 pounds and 6 ounces (if I recall right) but he LOVES to point out he had a HUGE head. (He says he's told me as a warning...lol, thanks, babe, you're awesome) Mix that in with my weighing in at 10 YES TEN pounds and one ounce, I am fearful that our child will be a giant headed 1/2 grown child at birth!!! LOL

I was 7 lbs 14 oz, and DH was about the same, a few oz smaller... even though he was a twin! I mean I know it happens but they almost always aren't the size of two full sized babies haha. I don't really think it'll have anything to do with our kids because I'm much smaller than my mom, so that COULD contribute, who knows. I'm just guessing it'll be smaller than we were.

I weighed around 7.5 pounds. I am not sure about DH, but I think it was an average number or lower.
I don't think it will have much of an effect on LO weight as we were both pretty average. I think it would be more likely to play a role if you weighed more or less at birth due to your length if that makes sense.

And I don't know...I don't think it really makes a difference.
I was 9 lbs 10 oz. and 22 inches long. I was two weeks late and my parents are both very tall. I am 5'9 today.
DH was only 6 lbs. Both his parents are short. MIL is just under 5 feet. DH is around 5'8 today.
If our weights have anything to do with our future baby, I hope they have his size

DS was more like my weight and was 6lbs 13ozs, thank goodness!
Me: 5 pounds, 9 oz.
DH: No clue. something about 8 pounds rings a bell.
DD: 7 pounds 5 oz
Birth weight is dependent on so many different factors that I don't really think there's a definitive link between the two.

I was 8lbs 9oz and DH was somewhere over 8lbs. I think it definitely plays a part in what LO will weigh but isn't the biggest determining factor.

I was 7 lb 9 oz and I'm not sure how much DH was.
I think a 7 lb baby would be nice.

OMG that's nuts!
I weighed around 7 lbs and I think the hubs was in the 8-9lb range.
Hopefully our kid would be in the 7-9lb range.
I was 10 something and Dh was just under 6 lbs.
DD was 7.9 lbs so to answer your question IMO I really think it has to do with the size of the woman.
I weighed around 7.5 pounds. I am not sure about DH, but I think it was an average number or lower.

I was 9lbs 2oz and DH was 7lbs 8oz. I definitely think it will play a role in the weight of our next baby.
DD#1 weighed 7lbs 8oz and DD#2 weighed 9lbs 2oz! Strange coincidence? Possibly. I predict the next baby will be right smack dab in the middle.
I was almost 10 pounds! My hubby was only about 4 1/2 pounds
I sure hope I don't one day have a 10 pound baby...despite my weight at birth I'm very petite!
