I haven't been released from Dr A yet, but I wanted to have a heart to heart with my OB that delivered Addyston and was pretty much the only Dr at Anderson the 4 days I was in and out.
He made me feel very comfortable and was very reassuring. He pretty much said that whatever I wanted to do, they would do, within reason. I gave him some information that I printed off the internet and he is going to look it over and the practice is meeting for their weekly meeting later today so he is going to bring up my case then and they will all discuss how we should proceed. I feel much better after leaving his office. He also did an internal and did a BV culture since that's #1 recommended thing for people who have dealt with PROM in the past and everything checked out just fine.
Now I just have to wait until 3/24 for my 1st u/s. Time is moving sooo slow!
Re: XP: Consult with OB this morning
Sounds like a good visit. I'm glad you got reassurances from him, and also from the culture they did today.
I hope the u/s goes just as well next week. Sending you lots and lots of good vibes!

Just insist on one
I like to have little mini melt downs at the OB these days so I think my poor Dr will just get out the u/s machine when he sees me coming! But that's also one perk about being with an RE (pretty much the only perk!) is the added ultrasounds!
I asked for one as well. My doctor just made up an excuse so that insurance would pay for it. She put down that I didn't know my dates so they needed to see when I was due. They squeezed me in that day and we saw the sweetest little blob with a fluttering heart
