Vent about DH's cousin...
Besides my mom you ladies are the only one I can vent to about this... But I don't really have problems with my MIL but she made a comment to DH about the things I post on FB saying that I share too much info about our lives and that I make people think we have alot of money because I said my grad school was $2500 for this semester... So ever since then I have a complex about what I post on FB and it bugs the cr*p out of me that she doesn't say anything about the things DH's cousin posts...
So now onto DH's cousin, who is pregnant with her 3rd daughter... her first daughter is 6, her second will be 3 and she is due in May with the 3rd... Mind you she was working at K-Mart and recently quit... her husband is a bouncer for a strip club... and they live in Section 8 housing and she applied for WIC... She posts cr*p about being broke as a joke... To me THIS is WAY worse then posting that I had to pay $2500 for tuition!!! She posts about how she booked her family a trip for December with her federal tax refund and now she can't get a refund on the tickets but she has absolutely nothing for the baby that is coming... Then she posts things like "even though I'm probably not going to get a shower I'm making a registry so people that are nice enough to help us know what to get"... Like SERIOUSLY!!!! WTF!!! You have had 2 daughters before this why are you registering for things like a diaper genie or $20 receiving blankets, or bath towels... shouldn't you already have some of these things and why are you registering for expensive cr*p?!?!
If you got this far, thanks for listening... it just irks the h*ll out of me that DH and I do well and I pay for my own tuition and I don't ask for handoust and spend our money carelessly but yet his cousin is who is going to have a 3rd baby announces to the world that they are broke and they have nothing for the baby and basically asking people to buy sh*t for them....
(ok seriously vent over... but I'm still irritated on the inside)

I totally understand your vent. My DH and I are friends with a couple who are in a similar situation, but she doesn't work and he *was* on unemployment. Neither one of them were seriously looking for a job. Matter-of-fact, she wants to be a SAHM, but obviously they can't afford that. When they get their refunds each year, which are a rediculous amount, it's usually gone very quickly because they run right out and spend it. It's incredibly frustrating.
However, my DH and I aren't very well off financially either. We both made horrible mistakes with our credit cards, and are now suffering from it. He works, and makes a decent amount of money, but with me not being able to find a job, things have been really tight. I'm not a saint with money, never have been, and that still gets me into trouble. We struggle, but we do try to pay our necessary bills. I receive assistance from the State, and I am not really ashamed of it. Because without the assistance, I wouldn't be able to put food on my table. I try not to judge all the people out there who receive assistance, some of us actually do need it.
