Intro!

I have been following you guys for a few weeks now and just wanted to write an intro since I think I will be on here a lot over the next few months!  I am pregnant with baby #2 and had an emergency c-section with #1 in December 2009 after an attempted external cephalic version because the little guy was breech.  During the procedure his heart rate dropped to the 60's and wouldn't come back up so I was rushed to the operating room.  I would LOVE to have a vaginal delivery this time, so I am keeping my fingers crossed!!

I haven't officially talked to my Dr about a VBAC yet, any tips?  I do know that he will do them, so that is good!

    I just want to say that I have a December 2009 c/s baby, too. I'd also love to be 60 lbs lighter and pg again. Not a good time for us, though. Good luck.

    First off, welcome to the board!  I would highly recommend joining your local ICAN chapter and attending meetings.  Also it might be helpful to bring a list of questions to chat with your OB about, so you don't forget to bring up even small details.  Also find out your hospital's policies on VBACs.  Even with a supportive provider, you can still run into quite a few obstacles at your birthing place.  It was also very helpful for me to read about VBAC in books and medical journals.  You can PM me for my reading list if you like Smile
