I usually do yogurt and fruit for DS's breakfast. Anyone have any easy/quick suggestions?? I'm getting bored of his breakfast, so I imagine he is too. TIA!
you can make pancakes and freeze the leftovers. wholesomebabyfood.com has a great pancake recipe. Just pull a pancake or two out of the freezer when you want to give him pancakes. Easy peasy.

We do- french toast, pancakes, waffles (I buy frozen- please don't judge me), he loves nutrigrain cereal bars- they are high in sugar, but he doesn't eat the whole thing nor does he have them all the time, he will also eat rasins with his french toast, waffle, or pancakes (no syrup or butter)- then of course, same as you, yogurt & fruit

oh i like those ideas - I didn't think about freezing pancakes! And I don't judge at all on the frozen waffles, I've given DS frozen waffles too!

Cool! Thanks! I hadn't thought about freezing pancakes!
I alternate between whole grain cereal mixed w/ pureed fruit and a little spoonful of greek yogurt, and scrambled egg w/ spinach (or whatever chopped veggies I have around) and little pieces of corn tortilla. He also likes smoothies.
DD typically has some plain yogurt with a bit of applesauce mixed in. Then she has either toast, a pancake, or a waffle with a little butter, and a banana or apple.
I've started giving her small bits of scrambled egg, but she has not picked up on that one so much just yet.
Our first baby girl, Lucia Joy, joined us on April 1, 2010!
Cottage cheese mixed with Applesauce or some fresh fruit
oatmeal w. raisens or bananas mashed up in it
make on weekends and freeze extras of pancakes or waffles
So far that's all we have really done with DD that I can make in advance unfortunatly, otherwise if we are in a hurry I just cut up some blueberries, bananas and give her some cheerios and call it a day.
