Cramps - What are yours like?

My cramps keep freaking me out. They can be pretty strong at times. They right in the center above my pubic bone. They feel like period cramps, but come and go randomly. I feel like they come more after I move around a lot? Normal?

Mine are a subtle cramping in my lower abdomen. They usually pick up in the afternoons and into the night. They don't get really bad unless I run up the stairs or if my jeans are too tight and I'm trying to sit down. Usually if I just stop, relax, or unbutton, the cramping goes down.

I do not even know what's normal anymore...LOL I get small cramps every few hours but they are on my lower right side more than anything. And do seem more apparent when I am moving around a lot.

I know what you mean, mine have been making me worry a lot too. Stupid reading, I wish I didn't know about half the stuff I do about pregnancy! I have been having some all over, sometimes down in my pubic bone area, some on the left and then some on the right. I do get some cramps when I'm in bed and moving to one side or the other, too. Some of mine I think are from gas, I've been really gassy about 3-4 days since before I got my BFP, and have had issues with (tmi) #2, I have IBS and whenever I'm stressed/really excited/worried my stomach does all sorts of gross things and it can be painful. I can't tell you if its normal or not, mention it to your doc when you go, or if you're that worried give them a call so your mind is at ease, thats what they're there for

Mine are all over... Sometimes to the right, sometimes to the left.... Other times they feel like a burnt bloat at the top of my pelvic region and still other times they are really dull at the bottom of my ute area

Mine were horrible for about 2 weeks, they freaked me out so much that I actually went to the ER just to be discharged with "discomfort due to pregnancy". Good news is that they are subsiding. I get minor cramps in the mornings but that is about it. My OB said they were implantation cramps, LO is literally burrowing into your uterus right now. She said they usually last the first 8 - 10 weeks of gestation and then will come and go throughout the pregnancy. What worked for me was laying on my back with my legs elevated (on a couch cushion usually), a thermacare heating pad and some tylenol. Hope this helps! I promise it gets better!

Thanks guys. I think some of mine might be gas/constipation Embarrassed

(fun) as well. I guess I'm just glad I feel *something* happening down there. I wonder if the worry ever goes away? Ha!

Mine are just light period cramps that move around. They're more noticeable when I'm walking around or standing for a little while, but seem to go away when I lay down. Sometimes its hard to destinguish gas cramps from the real ones.

Mine are exactly like you described. It has been freaking me out, but I keep telling myself that the cramps mean something is working in there. It's how I am rationalizing it in my narotic head! Every twinge, I am worried.

Mine are bad I went to the ER 3 nights ago for them.. they are always in my right side and go into my pelvis and it is a really sharp stabbing pain. I work nights and sleep in the mornings and the first time i had my cramps hey woke me up from my sleep and i felt like i couldnt move they are horrible....the dr in the ER said it was just the muscles but i have my first appt on the 21st so i am hoping cramps is all it is...

Heating pad! Are we allowed to use those? I had such bad cramps earlier I went home from work. I thought about getting those heating pads, but figured if I can't take a super hot bath, can I use one? That would be sooo helpful.
