Frustrated

I've been having contractions for the last two days.  Yesterday they were about 3 minutes apart lasting about a 45 seconds to a minute.  We had happened to have a midwife appointment and she did an internal and I was 2 cm dilated and 100% effaced.  She predicted we'd have the baby not yesterday, but some time today.  Well, the contractions were pretty bad so we called our doula and after about 4 hours we called in the midwife.  She did another internal and I was only at a 3.  She suggested that I take some Tylenol and Benadryl to get some sleep, since I hadn't really had any for a few days.  Well, I did that, it was really great, but now my contractions are pretty much gone.  I've had maybe 10 all morning.  We are going to take a walk later to try and get contractions moving again, but I'm really frustrated that nothing is going on anymore.

    I wish I had something better to say than 'LO will come when he's ready!'

    It's very frustrating! 

    Baby Boy Born 3.15.11. 8lb 9oz, 21.75in. 6 month stats: 20lb 11oz (92%tile), 30.12in.(100%tile - who knew it went over 99th? Which means 100% of other 6 month olds are shorter than mine!)
