Help - Ticker

Not sure what I am doing wrong but can someone tell me how to add a ticker.

    Im certainly not great with this site but I think you create the ticker  using the Links from the left hand menu on your home page here, then copy the source code.  Then you click on "My Bump" and "Edit My Avatar & Sig"  you can then paste the source code into your signature...
