Bleeding then just spotting at 5w...anyone?

I had some mild cramping today then bleeding, which turned quickly into spotting. Of course I'm a bit upset. The RE's office told me not to worry but I am worried. They ordered another Beta - results tomorrow. Just curious if any of you ladies has experienced this. Thanks : )

I had the exact same thing happen to me at 7 weeks and it totally freaked me out. I called the RE and described it, and they were so unconcerned by it they didn't even have me come in, especially after I told them how quickly it tapered off. My 9 week u/s was totally normal. Sending T&P your way that it is the same for you!

Keeping u in my T&P. I had full flow bright red bleeding around wk 5/6 and lots of spotting since 4 weeks. I still spot on/off. RE is never worried and says it may be implantation which goes on through 8th wk (what I was told). And blood thinners could also cause it.

I had some brown spotting at 5w that turned out to be nothing but still freaked me out! Can you talk them into getting you in sooner for an u/s?? Having to wait until 3/31 would drive me crazy!!!

I had this happen at 5w1d and got so freaked that I went to the ER. It turned out to just be implantation. The nurse there said she sees this all of the time, and almost every time, things turn out ok! Keeping you in my T&Ps!

I'm 8w5d and I've had it happen 3x! the most recent time was yesterday!

Unfortunately, it happens. with my first daughter, I had it happen 2x. My RE has me put my feet up and increase fluids.

hang in there. it is so scary!!! but it also is very normal.

ChartBart - I am struggling with the U/S wait. I even defected and went to my OBGYN's office before the "official release " I had a great appointment with him and he offered to do an U/S a week earlier but I decided to wait until they did it and released me. They told me today if the bleeding continued they would pull me in next week for an U/S. I can't believe how time has flown by with you and your lil' ones! It's so close!!!...keeping you in my T&P's : )

Well, you saw my spazzy posts! I've had about 85 heart attacks so far this pg. This does seem to happen to a lot of women on the board - I really hope all is OK for both of us! ((Hugs)) - you are a calmer woman than I!
