Almost impulse bought a recliner

We have a rocking chair for the nursery, and a super comfy couch, but lately I have been really wanting a big soft recliner for the living room. I found one on sale for 300, reg. 700, but should probably be practical and just put the money in savings. Right?

Anyone have a good one to recommend, or a good place to get one incase my willpower fails?

    We got one to match our couch since our place isn't big enough to accommodate the matching loveseat comfortably.  Honestly, no one ever sits in it (except the dog) since it's still in an awkward spot in the room.  It has to be against the wall so it can't even recline right now.  It's really comfy though so we'll probably love it more when we eventually move.  We got it from Ashley Furniture.

    awe man really? I was going to tell you to go for it and buy it! We bought one about a month ago and I sit in it every night I love it! I work long hours and it is so nice to come home and put my feet up in the recliner. Good luck!

    I impulse bought a recliner about a month or so ago!  I got it at Big Lots for $160 (normally $300, on sale for $200 + 20% off coupon!!!) and I LOVE IT.  When my hips hurt at night I get up and sit in the recliner (it's upstairs in the baby's room - we don't have space for it in the living room) and my hips feel much better.

    Bottom line, tho it was impulsive, it was a great buy.  I'll be able to use it when feeding the  baby when she gets here and it's helping ease the pain in my hips now!  Don't know if you have a Big Lots near you, but if you do, check them out!
