I gave up sugary snacks/desert and soda. I will be giving up soda as much as I can for the durration of the pg. Probably not the case with the snacks. Any ideas for alternatives for the sweets?
PS...what did you give up if anything?

DH and I are both going to try to give up fast food. This will be hard for us, since its so easy to go grab a quick meal instead of making one, but we need to cut back.

I do usually give up something, but this time, I figured I'm giving up quite a few things and not just for 40 days! Alcohol, caffeine, sex...So I figured I'm already set for this year!
Re: What I gave up for lent...
I usually try to just give up candy. Or ice cream. Or soda. No sense in doing too much!
This year I'm starting to go to church again and giving up (I guess) candy. I have a feeling that's going to just turn into reducing candy.

Like PP, I'm giving up alcohol and sex (after I freaked myself out after our 1st attempt at sex since BFP).
Also, I was meatless for over 10 weeks of the pregnancy, so I'll put that credit towards Lent, too.
