I have loooooved the name Felicity for YEARS (yes I was obsessed with the show and still am obsessed with Keri Russell), but that's not why I love the name. I just think it is beautiful. My husband absolutely HATES it, so sadly, we can't use it.

But I just wanted to give a shout-out to anyone who's picked that name, because I am so jealous of you!

I went to my anatomy scan last week thinking/hoping/dreaming that we were having a girl--because I too am in love with the name Felicity.

Ever since the scan, I have been lurking on this board and looking for boy names.

There's something wonderful about the name, Felicity. When I say it, it almost has an electricity to it. There's the underused letter, F paired with the popular EE ending that gives this a mix of familiairity, but still manages to be unique against the more used names.

It also has an excellent meaning.

I LOVE this name and it's even a family name for me. Great-grandmother was Felicite (pronounced the same way), but alas... my last name ends in the same "ey" and it does not sound good together at all.

I love love love this name also!! I would love to use this name but there is something that may make it weird. When the show Felicity aired I had tons of people telling me "You look just like Felicity"..I still get it randomly..My fiance everytime we see Keri Russels face on a movie or magazine he says, "hey, its your twin!"

I love this name and because of a weird OCD thing I have with names, if this baby is a girl I want her name to start with a letter between around E-K in the alphabet. But one of my best friends has told me before that she loves this name and I'm not going to be a douche and use it when I know that it's probably her very favorite girls name. Thankfully, there are a handful of other girls names I like that start with those letters, too.
