Is week 7 the same as 6 weeks pregnant?

I am confused on how to calculate where in my pregnancy I am. My due date is Nov 2, so I know I am 6 weeks pregnant today. But does that mean I am in week 6 or week 7? With all the changes happening so fast, I'd like to know I am reading the right chapters! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

    I always found it confusing as well with the 6 weeks 1 day, 2 days, 3 days ect. I have an app on my phone that tells me now :)

    It depends on the book. I've seen them calculate it off LMP or off lunar month. Most books give an explanation of how to calculate for their book. I try to read the week that I am pregnant.

    If you are 6w1d pregnant, you are in your 7th week. You have completed 6 entire weeks (+ 1 day) which makes you working on your 7th week.

    Usually, yes.

     You're going to want to change your screen name. Not only is it not smart from a privacy standpoint, but people who use their personal email addresses tend to get signed up for porn memberships, etc. Just a heads up. :)

    Yes!

    If you are 6 weeks pregnant you are in your 7th week.

    (Just like if you are 1 year old you are in your 2nd year of life.)

    Unless your you have long cycles your Dr. will date from the 1st day of your LMP & most books do too.

    IMO you're in your sixth week. But why worry about that anyway? Just say you're six weeks pregnant or six weeks one day pregnant, etc.

    This is how I consider it, too. I have a book that is 'your pregnancy week by week' and I read the new weekly chapter every friday because that's when my week changes. Right now I am 6w 6d pregnant so tomorrow I will start reading "your pregnancy, week 7". I dont think it matters either way though.

    I am due Nov 2nd as well!!! I just had my first ultrasound and got to see the heartbeat. I have heard the same thing that the other girls said - we are in our 7th weeks.
