So LO got the beginning of a little rash. Totally my fault. She has been sleeping long stretches at night (yay!) but that means I don't wake up and therefore haven't been changing her every 2-3 hours (not yay). So I cut up some fleece and put it in the diaper since I read it helps wick moisture and also keeps the diaper cream off the diaper. All I have on hand is Desitin so I was using it. I realized after a day of changing her, that I was using the cloth wipes to clean her bum and the Desitin is getting on the wipes. I don't want to use disposable wipes on her bum because it will just irritate the rash.
Am I ruining my wipes? What are my options in this situation? Oh, and do I just wash the fleece liners with the rest of the diaper laundry?
Re: Cloth wipes, fleece liners and diaper rash cream?
I started out washing separately but now I just wash it together and have not had any problems. Its not like the cream gets smeared on the dipes in the wash.
