OPK Recommendation?

I am going to buy my first OPK this weekend when I go back to the store.  Is there a particular brand/kind you ladies would recommend?  Also, I don't know if I've had AF or not since my D&C because I have been spotting off and on ever since.  Do I need to wait until I have a definite period to start using the OPK so it's at the beginning of a cycle?

I'm really sorry if these are stupid questions, but I didn't use any charting, temps, OPK, or anything last time.  We just kind of let nature take its course.  I'm not feeling nearly as patient this time around and want to hurry up the process of TTC as much as I can.

    I would wait until you have definite period ..also I use Wondfos I buy in bulk from Amazon and they are really cheap..and most things here are not stupid questionsBig Smile..also sign up for FF you can do it for free and it has many lessons GL!

    I have not had much luck with OPk's but I am now using the Wondofo you can order on Amazon and the ClearBlue Easy Digital.  Also don't go to the store to buy  then,  order them from Amazon if at all possible they are wayyyyy cheaper on there.

    I'm interested to see what everyone has to say. I didn't use OPK before but I did temp/chart. I think I'm going to order some OPK to have on hand once we're ready to TTC again.

    I would just make sure that you are testing negative on a PG test before you start testing w/ an OPK.  If you still have HACG  in your system, you can get a false positive on an OPK.

     I don't have a ton of experience w/ OPK's, but as of today, I got a negative on my Wondfo's while getting a positive on my Clear Blue Digital Easy.  Not sure which is right or wrong at this point, and pretty soon, I would expect Clear Blue to start paying me an endorsement fee because I am so enamoured with their products.  Good luck!

    I got some First Response tests from Target because I just wanted to have them for this cycle and I waited too long but I'm going to order some online as well.

    Thanks for the quick responses!!  I will definitely be buying my OPK online to save some money.  I checked out FF, but I think I will have to look around on the site some more tomorrow.   There's just too much for me to look through right now since I'm getting ready to call it a night.  Definitely a great resource though!
