what "No" means...We BF, and when he bit me last night (twice), I said, "NO, don't do that!" He cried. Today, he was throwing stuff on the floor, and I gave it back to him and said, "No, baby, don't do that!" He cried again...but it worked, he stopped. I don't like scaring him but he only cries for a second, more of a pouty face...it's so cute!

Same here! When I take something away from DD, she gets this face and holds her breath like she is going to explode, and it takes everything in me not to bust out laughing!

Yup. Gavin compeltely understands 'no' already. He even remembers now two of the things he's not to touch. He's obsessed with my side table lamp and pulling at this part of my couch where the leather is cracked.
I had to say "That lamp is not for babies" about 20 times one night (and move him to the other side of the LR and put a toy in his hands) and after that if I seem him going towards it (with that devilish I'm gonna touch it look in his eyes lol) I say it and he stops and turns around
He's understood 'no' a LOT sooner than DD ever did!
