A friend of mine that recently gave birth said that she had to go buy "granny panties" for post partum. I asked why and she said because she has to wear a pad all day every day... I asked why she couldn't wear a pad with her regular underwear (thinking maybe post partum pads are huge and require ginormous granny bloomers??) And she said no, you can't wear a pad with a thong! Apparently she made it all 9 months wearing thongs. WOW!
Personally, I have been in more comfy cotton undies most days and have to wear liners all the time anyway. I wouldn't say they are granny panties, but lets just say they are nothing my hubby would pick out for me LOL I only wear thongs when I have to wear a fitted dress or dress pants, and that hasn't happened for weeks!
What are your undies looking like these days?
Re: are you still wearing thongs?
I never held you, but I always loved you.

HA that cracked me up
Ugh, I haven't worn thongs since the 90's!
I wear my seamless briefs, and sometimes to bed I wear my giant comfy cotton Costco undies - love them! They are literally falling apart at the seams - sexy.
This and I'm 37 weeks pg!
Agreed.
Maternity undies and panty liners have been my best friends since the start of the 2nd tri..
I'm 32w3d and I wear comfy cotton low rise thongs from Old Navy (and thong panty liners lately) to work because I have yet to find underwear that do not give me panty lines in work pants. I've never found them uncomfortable. When I'm home in comfy clothes or wearing jeans, I'm in regular underwear. Though that's more because I change after work into comfy clothes and at bed I take the clothes off and just wear underwear and a sports or sleep bra to sleep.
I've been wearing thongs but I had to size up because of the incurable wedgie feeling. I still wear them and they are comfy but I sleep in granny panties!
DD due April 2, 2014
Ditto!
Ditto this. Hanky Panky thongs are even more comfortable than the Hanky Panky bikini undies. I love them and wish they were not so expensive.

All I own is thongs (even all my workout underwear are thongs). They are still comfortable for me and think they will be for the long haul.
I haven't worn non-thong underwear since highschool, so that will definietly be an adjustment for me when they are needed.

I wore thongs until about 20 weeks...with DS. I haven't ever been able to go back. Before my first pregnancy I wore thongs all the time. Even after he was born, I just couldn't get back into them. They were never comfortable again.
Me too!
