I order a lot through the mail. It's so much easier than going to the store. Most of the time things are delivered by UPS and occasionally by FedEx, but sometimes my amazon orders are delivered by Prestige. I had never heard of this company before. I'm all for supporting smaller companies, but these people deliver my packages out of unmarked vehicles (one time a BMW?!) and never ring the doorbell. It's like they're trying to sneak my packages onto the doorstep on their way home from work. Would this bother you or am I crazy?
Re: Am I a (package) delivery snob?
Yeah, our UPS guy knows me well enough by now that he doesn't ring the doorbell during the afternoon, either. I guess this just seems weirder to me since these people don't know me and are in an unmarked car. But then I wonder if I'm just crazy.
I have had a couple of things delivered by Prestige, but to be honest, I never knew that they drove random unmarked vehicles or anything like that. It seems to me that I read somewhere that they are somehow affiliated with the US post office? Does that sound right? Maybe I am just crazy.
I will say that I am for sure a package delivery snob. I hate it when companies use the USPS to send items. They are the slowest, their package tracking is the worst, and more things seem to get lost when using them instead of UPS or Fedex. Really disappointing.
