none so far. Thankfully. I'm surprised because I was told I had alot of ear infections when I was a baby. I drank ALOT of apple juice during my pregnancy and that is suppose to help prevent them some how?

Minus the apple juice, this is me. As a kid I had an ear infection or double ear infection several times each winter. I'm hoping Aiden bypass inheriting that.
we are on #3 (they have all been right in a row). after the antibiotics clear it up (amoxicillin which she was allergic to and cefprozil) it comes right back and we never know because shes so happy and not outwardly affected.
today were going to the chriopractor to make sure her cspine is alligned since she had such a rough delivery (vaccum and forceps). im hoping that things are just outta whack and once shes alligned her ears will drain.

2 and they were relatively close together. We haven't had one in months, thank god.
I blamed it on SO being a smoker (outside only, but it gets on his clothes, etc) and asked him to be better about washing his hands before holding Sophia.

I actually asked our Pedi if this could contribute to ear infections and he said "no". He said that the amount on your clothes is too little to cause them..

Yeah my husband was a heavy smoker until 6 months ago and the pedi didn't seem to care. I had to work hard to get her worked up, bringing ear infections, SIDs and anything else but all she said was 3rd hand smoke was toxic but to always wash his hands and face and change his shirt before he held the baby.

5 and she now has tubes. She got her first one at 8 weeks.
The last one wouldn't go away - she was on amox, augmentin, something that starts with a "C", and then got 2 shots of Rocephin. After all that, she still had the infection.
LO#1 never had one. LO#2 had one case of double ear infections due to having Croup for a whole week. The pedi said it was common for ear infections to develop after being sick for so long. After 10 days on amoxicillin, took him to the pedi yesterday and his ears are all cleared up. I hope he never gets croup again !!!! Awful, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
High risk momma: Diagnosed with a partially abrupted placenta at 32 weeks and sentenced to strict bed rest for the remainder.

0, thank goodness. Not only for my DS, but because I was going to strangle my MIL if I had to hear one more time about how many DH had as a child. I cannot wait to start whole milk. Hopefully we can then stop the constant talk of DH's former milk allergy off the list.
Re: How many ear infections has your baby had so far?
FIVE! (and yes, I am yelling.)
We go see the ENT next week to talk about tubes.

So did we, and got the same answer.

Zero
None,
My DS has never had one either.
None!
But I recently had a double ear infection that lasted for a month!
Op did you breastfeed? Breastfeeding for 6 months reduces the instances of ear infections. Here are some links:

That ship has sailed so why bring that up?
