Who had ordered a crib online?

I live in a small town. The closest place that sells cribs (decent cribs) is over 5 hrs away. I have been considering ordering a crib online, but I'm scared to do it! Will you ladies tell me your experiences? I hear that JCP delivers site to store for free, and I like some of their cribs. I have also read that BRU ships free to your home, but does that include cribs and dressers too? I need some info!! TIA!

I ordered a Babyletto Mod crib from Amazon. It was a little scary ordering it without seeing it, but I didn't love what I'd seen in person and so I took a chance and ordered it based on images and reviews. Fortunately, it looks great and we love it!

We ordered from JCP online. We got the Tori Collection and love it - we got the crib and dresser and both were free to ship to store. And a tip to you - if you do order from JCP, do a google search for coupon codes! Nearly everytime I order from there, I find a 15 or 20% code online somewhere. And if there isn't one out now, I would wait... 15% on a few hundred dollars makes a big difference and they have coupons often!!

We ordered our crib online. But we order most everything online (our glider just got delivered a few minutes ago).

Our crib was on sale and there was a deal for free shipping. If you can find a similar deal, that would be great since shipping on bigger items is sometimes really expensive and the "free shipping over x dollars" usually doesn't apply to big items.

We ordered ours from JCP and are having it shipped right to the house because we don't have an easy way to get it home from the store anyway. It's en route.

I ordered our crib from walmart.com. It shipped free through site to store, I got extra cash back from my credit card company, and it came bundled with a free mattress. It only took about a week or so for the delivery to arrive to the store. All-in-all, it was a good experience.

I didn't order anything fancy, we just got a Graco Lauren. It just so happened WalMart was having a good deal on it and we ordered it site to store. No problems for us.

We just ordered DD's from Amazon {Europa} and it was in great condition. I ordered DS's from Target.com and it was also fine.

I ordered DS's JC Penney furniture {changing dresser & bookshelf} and didn't have an issue either. HTH

I've ordered from both JCP and BRU and I have been happy with both. The site to store is nice since you won't have to pay shipping! I also just ordered a twin bed from JCP and was happy with that too, so I'd say they're pretty good quality for the prices!

I do have some cribs in mind, but no where close to look at them. I would be ordering them based only on the reviews people have given. My only reservation is... some cribs got great reviews, while the matching dresser/changer/hutch got not-so-great reviews. I can't seem to find an affordable matching set that got great reviews on both pieces. Perhaps I'm being fussy, but if I'm going to spend that much money, I want to know I'm getting good furniture!

I did that crib for DS {but ordered it from Target 2 yrs ago}. There are lots of Bumpies who have it and rave about it too- hope you enjoy it, we still love ours & it's now a converted toddler bed!

We ordered the Graco Lauren off Amazon and had free 2 day shipping. When we finally unpacked the box a week later to assemble it we noticed the back piece was somehow damaged. I called up Lajobi the next day and they were really nice and sent me a replacement part out the next day.

Got our crib and mattress from diapers.com, which has free shipping of anything over $50. If you are a first time user to the site, they give you an additional discount and you can also google coupon codes that work as well. Good luck!

We got the entire Davinci Emily Crib, 3 drawer dresser/changer, and 4 drawer dresser from Amazon.

Free shipping and no taxes.

I order stuff from them all the time, large and small, never a problem returning anything, but there was no need to return.

the quality of Baby's Dream cribs are outstanding. My DS is 3. He's used the crib as a crib, toddler bed, and full size bed. We are about to put it back to a crib for DS#2 and it's very sturdy.

If you select the crib you want, add it to your cart, and proceed to checkout without submitting your credit card info. or selecting the final "purchase" option, it will tell you how much shipping and tax will be before you purchase the item. You can always cancel it if there is shipping.

I order a lot of things off of Amazon and they are really good about not charging shipping if you select the right shipping method. I ordered our Shermag glider and ottoman a week ago and it just arrived free of shipping.

I was a little scared too, but we ordered our crib from Simply Baby Furniture.com. I even got a deal on the mattress if I ordered furniture from them. Once my order was placed I got a phone call from their customer service department a few days later, advising me to check all the pieces upon arrival in case of damage during delivery. I love my set!! We got the DaVinci Kalani set in expresso. Good luck.

We also got ours on walmart.com and it shipped free site to store. Delivery was timely and it wasn't too hard to pick it up or anything. I was happy with the quality of the whole set. I got the crib, changing table, and dresser. We also got our glider through them.

I was about to order a more expensive crib like Munrie or Baby's Dream, but then I saw the Monterey from JCP. There was a great sale and I had a coupon on top of it so I just did it. I was pretty nervous too, but I think it's beautiful. It's all solid wood construction with no veneers or MDF so it's very sturdy. I also got the chest and dresser which I like very much. Anyway, I highly recommend that set. I can't speak for any other JCP crib because I believe the Monterey was one of the few solid wood sets (which was a requirement for me). GL.

We ordered from Amazon because we were worried we couldn't fit it in our car if we had to pick it up from JCP or Target. We simply selected the free super saving shipping option and it shipped right to our door, no charge. It was a little worrisome buying something we hadn't seen in person, but I'm quite pleased with our crib. The (non-matching) dresser may be a bit of a different story, but I had trouble finding something in our price range that wasn't particleboard and that didn't suffer from less-than-rave reviews.

We ordered our crib off of Amazon. No complaints yet. We still haven't opened the box so I can't say if any parts are damaged. I hear that the company has really good customer service and will replace damaged parts quickly for you. So I'm not worried.

I ordered a Jenny Lind crib from Amazon, and it shipped for free with Amazon Prime. I do so much of my shopping online, and I LOVE that Amazon offers free Prime membership to students!

If you are going to order online from BRU, check Walmart first. BRU's Davinci brand is the same thing as Walmart's Baby Mod brand (both from Million Dollar Baby manufacturer), and it's much cheaper at Walmart, plus free site to store shipping, assuming there's a Walmart close to you. I got the Kalani crib and dresser (at BRU), named Cadence at WM, and they had all the pieces I needed in the collection.
