If you have a front loading washer, come in please...

Is there a way to use Oxy Clean? If so, what compartment would I put it (detergent, prewash, bleach, or softener)? TIA!

  • We have a German front loader.  Per the German serviceman who installed it, you put thinks like oxiclean in the pre-wash since that is what it is, a prewash solution.

Now, not sure about the US brands, but our German Serviceman was very clear, the machines work best with powders, especially detergents (the liquid softener goes in the softener slot with water already in there).

And we have noticed that the clothes smell cleaner this way, though I have NO idea why that is.

But again, this is a European machine.
