With all the new ladies here, (and my deep desire to know emeraudecephiro's meaning) I thought I'd ask: what does your 'name' mean?

My bn is pretty boring -- carrieandtim -- that's my name and my DH's name. Creative huh?

So that leads to another question: If you could change it, would you and what would you change it to?

I would like mine to be **blessed31** because our number is 31 and we are very blessed.

Mine is boring too. I went to Penn State, my name is Melissa and 13 was my softball number in high school. I think I would change it to something cuter or sexier. Kind of like an alter me! Lol

the x is the abbreviation for the Chirho (the earliest symbol for Christ/Christianity that predated the cross that Constantine wore on his sheild when he overtook the Roman Empire and spread Christianity throughout Europe and eventually the rest of the world).

..therefore, it means christianbride

The first link didn't work but she looks like a super cool anime character. Do you draw anime too? Is this the type of art you produce? I would love to see some of your work. I am a big lover of art (not much of an artist myself) although I minored in Art while in College and consider myself somewhat creative...but talentless. My favorite technique was etching. I really enjoyed it. Although it is not too practical to reproduce unless in an art studio considering you need acid and other extremely toxic substances.

KJ are DH's initials and that's what he went by in college when we met. I still call him that Smile So, I'm KJ's babe. I chose it when I joined the Knot to set up a wedding web page.

I don't know that I would change it, but if I did I'd probably go with HeathCliffsAngel. Heath is my cat and I've used that sn a lot through out the years.

Mine is a name I've used for years. I am a big Buffy fan. In the last episode she explains to Angel that she's like cookie dough. She's not done baking yet. She's still figuring herself out. And for years I've felt that way, too. Sometimes I still do - that I'm still baking, not quite fully done cookies yet. I think we're always learning, always finding out more about ourselves and to me, that name represents that and reminds me of it. I like it anyway.

ShootingStar came from the fact DH and I reunited after 6 years (dated after high school, he left for the Air Force, we were both married and divorced in between, and then reconnected when he was home on leave) and I married the man I should have never let go. For a long time back then I wished (on a "shooting star") I would see him again. 0724 is our wedding date.

... Now I wish on a shooting star we can have a take home baby lol.

I'm a big time gamer, mostly RPGs, and Aluenna has been my character name since I started playing MUDs in...like...2000ish. It's gotten to be a habit for me to use it on forums, so people can connect it with my in-game character...except here there is no in-game <blush>

My DH had to explain to me what MUDs were but the rest I got. He is a big D&D nerd. I have played a few times. I can definitely see how it can become addicting. It is pretty fun.

Mine is soo old and I've wanted to change it but had it for along time. Since I'm short (5ft, 1/4in), people used to call me smurf, smurfette, and say I was smurfy. (i was also called little bean, sprout... ) 3 was the bday of my boyfriend at the time in college and 8 is my bday.

I think I would change it to something fun, maybe Buttercup, Tinkerbell... or something else ..
