Who's keeping + pee sticks?

I know my mom still has the pee stick from when she found out she was pregnant with me, but a lot of my friends think it's gross to keep it.

I for one have a pee stick lined up for every day to watch my line get darker. I don't know if I'm going to KEEP them, but for right now, I like to go look at them. (Perfect way to drive me crazy, isn't it?) I might keep my one FRER for a baby box or something.

I think a lot of it is I'm not really out of the time period where a CP might occur, and I just want to enjoy every day I can get. I feel like if my line is getting darker every day there's less chance that that is going to happen. (Whether that is true or false, I don't care lol).

Who else still has their pee sticks?

Yea I have my little IC's taped next to each other to compare lines, and it's all in a little zip lock snack bag lol.

I've taken at least 7 tests, but most were the day I found out because I was in so much shock. I only saved the prettiest one from the first day, and took one yesterday and one today.

  • I'll keep a picture but no tthe actual test. I don't think it's necessarily gross to keep it, but I think a picture fits in a scrapbook better ;)

  • I thought about keeping them but then I finally decided on the picture of them being the memento I will keep. I also continue to pee on them. In these early stages you almost need them to remind you that this is real!

  • I took a picture but I threw out the tests. I don't want to keep something with urine on it.

  • I'm a lurker for now...I'm supposed to POAS on Friday so we'll see then but I just wanted to say that I kept my digital test with my son and about 3 or 4 days later it went blank so there's no need to keep those if you took that kind of test ladies! I went to check it one morning and it was blank...it broke my heart, haha!
  • I tossed my digital when I saw that it had gone blank but I kept my best FRERs. Smile

  • I had 3 FRER, about 6 ICs, and 3 CB digitals lined up on the back of my toilet.  DH kept saying "When are you going to get rid of those pee sticks??"    So, the day that I got my second beta back I threw away all the ICs but I kept the FRERs.  (Shhh-don't tell my DH).  The digitals had already went blank so I already threw them away.  My DH gave me a high-5 for getting rid of them!  I do have pics of them too though!!

  • I still get them out and look at them...but I don't plan on keeping them forever. I AM hoarding one last pee stick, emergency use only, in case I find myself not "feeling pregnant" and panicky!

  • Hey.. this is my first pregnancy.. and I am crazy excited.. I too put mine in a ziplock bag and look at it every now and again.. makes me smile!!! I thought I was crazy thanks for letting me know others do it too!!
  • Im keeping all 3 of mine. I gave them to my husband by wrapping them all up in a gift box with a bow(thats how I told him). Even though the results have faded on the digital one, the results are still there on the First Response.

  • I still have all 6 of mine for now. I'll get rid of them eventually but I do like looking at them when I get a nervous twinge or cramp in my stomach. I also bought 3 more at the store today and I think I'll take one every 3 or 4 days just until it feels real.
  • I have both of mine. I mean, they came with a cap and both of them were dipped in a cup, so I definitely didn't tinkle on them. Once I'm out of the first tri, I'll probably keep the first, fainter one because it's such a happy memory.
