AWing my baby shower!

Well, things ended up going a lot better than I expected them to! Of course everyone wanted updates on what's going on, but they didn't ask too many questions and there was a lot of general visiting and catching up as well. We ended up getting a lot of stuff, too! We definitely have generous family and friends!

Even better, almost everyone bought things off of the registry and those who didn't managed to get really awesome things for the boys (we got a video monitor with a panning camera rather than the audio only ones we registered for and one of my besties bought them a book the two of us loved as kids growing up together). Overall, a really good day! Here are a few pictures I thought I'd share since DH brought me my camera cord (finally!).

31 weeks, 3 days/5'3"/Twin Boys/1st babies (since I haven't been able to post on HDBD in awhile)

Shower cake, 2 peas in a pod. My mom had a friend from work make it for us. Apparently she spent over 16 hours making it (and it shows!). It was delicious to boot

My mom attempted a diaper cake, but it PALES in comparison to the one my besties brought me! This thing is EPIC. There are about 140 diapers in this cake, plus 2 blankets, onsies, washclothes, hooded bath towels, bubble bath/soap, nighttime lotion, diaper cream and powder and bath toys. Just, WOW!
