  All the fish and sea animal squirters are must-haves in our house. He also has a little people boat that he loves, stacking cups, a swimming Nemo.

  Walmart carries a bath toy set with little bugs and a net to catch them in.  Both of my kids *love* them.  The bugs' wings flutter when you pull their string... so cute.  Also any type of little plastic figurine of characters they're familiar with... Party city carries these for $1 each.

  We have squirt fish, foam letters, staking cups just like "Green sprouts Stacking Cup Set" (c&p changed the font, sorry)

  Really my kids are just as happy with tupperware as anything else.  We have squirty toys - make sure you empty them every bath so they don't get moldy insde - and some foam letters and fish that stick to the bath tub wall, and some bath tub crayons.   we have an old school Fisher Price houseboat that I got off ebay and that's MY favorite.

  We have the FP houseboat too - my mom saved it from my brothers back in the 80s. He LOVES it. Comes with two boats, a hydroplane and some little people. They must make a new version? We also love our stacking cups.

  Mine is older than that and doesn't have a hydroplane!  Just the houseboat and al ittle one man dinghy.

  We don't do squirters after I squeezed one and brown goop came out.  EWWWW!

  These have lasted the longest in our house, they have different spouts and holes in them for pouring water.  Amazon has them listed as "Funny Face Beakers Bath Toys":
