I'm a sh!tty Facebooker. The switch has thrown me for a loop - not sure where to go in those little slivers of time. Working on a new position at a different practice so busy with that. Ultimately, I haven't taken time to figure it out. Sigh. Miss you guys.
Re: Confession re: FB
For me, the good thing about Facebook is that I can view and post on my Blackberry while I am on BART to work. I could never access TB on my Blackberry. The number of posts on Facebook is sometimes overwhelming for me though...
Right? I was getting like 40 email alerts a day. I had to turn it off.
Hey! Want to get the girls together in the next couple weekends?
I was just thinking about you and Ada today - a get together would be great! Maybe the zoo after all, or the Bay Area Discovery Museum - we haven't been there but heard great things about it. Saturday mornings at 11:30 is swim lesson and we have a birthday party tomorrow and another on the 20th both in the afternoon. What does your schedule look like these days?
Working Sun-Wed so I think we'd have to aim for a Saturday afternoon. Next weekend? Tim and I have "radiology prom" that night, but I'm not too vain - I don't need so much time to get ready :-)
When is the next swim sign-up? I've been asking at the gym and nobody seems to know.
Next Saturday afternoon sounds great. Let's plan for that!!!
We always sign up when the previous class ends. I'll ask Tom when he is back from work later tonight.
::Butting in:: There are a TON of posts on FB. I can sometimes read them all, but I often just skim. Same as TB I guess.
And can I just say I'm living vicariously through you guys. I reaalllllly miss SF

I think that just means you should come visit us :-)
Please?
Our apartment is tiny but we have a comfy place to sleep and lots of love and hospitality. Just sayin'...
It's a date! I'll email you later in the week to button things up.
Re FB - I agree, I haven't found a balance and I hate that it re-orders the posts based on when someone replies. Hate it. I've turned off all the notifications, but had thought it seemed slower overall - maybe the same number of replies but fewer overall posts.
Have fun with your play date. Tara and I had coffee and bagels this morning and it was so cute listening to Fiona say "Ellie's cup!" Tara, she needs a straw sippy!
I still love THIS board and want to keep up with it. I just like another way to keep in touch when I can't get to my laptop and reading the Bump on my iPhone sucks. That being said, I turn off ALL notifications on FB. HATE the influx.
So.... HI MONICA!!!!!!
