I REALLY need to pick up dog poo out of the back yard. It's been a few weeks and I have 3 big dogs.
We havent picked up since summer... yuck. And I have a 200lb mastiff and a 75lb basenji/chesapeake mix. Luckly we have a huge yard and a lot of trees and they like to go in the bushes... but still, i dont go out there.
My FFFC is that I am in a totally foul mood right now and all I want to do is tell everyone at work to LEAVE ME ALONE and then go out for a drink. Everyone all around me has been whispering about random crap they can not control and talking about eachother behinds their backs and it is driving me nuts. The constant "ssspspspspssspsp" sound is making me want to scream.
Also, my house is a total mess, I have left over baby fair stuff filling my living room and every time I look at the massive pile of baby crap I want to get my tubes tied. I got ktfu w/ Cam way too easy and I am terrified it will happen again.
Um, we haven't clean up dog Sh!t in a LONG time either. Seriously, that's H's job and he hasn't come through, so I totally get it! And I DO NOT GO in the back yard. I felt bad for the Directv guy a few weeks ago.
Ask for a deferred presecution. They'll probably do it if you have no criminal charges and you get the title transferred ASAP. If it's deferred, it won't go on your record unless you violate the terms of the deferral.
I think this only works for traffic violations - which this isn't. (I I've used my deferral in the past 7 years so I don't get it again for awhile...)
I'm working on getting the title transferred ASAP - I need to contact the previous owner for a signature that's missing on the paperwork.
No, it doesn't. It works for criminal charges as well.
SWEET!! thanks for letting me know - I still need to get title transferred ASAP but I feel so much better now!! (I work for a federal defense contractor so having anything on my record might impact my employment...) and the odds of me (knowingly) doing anything criminal for the next several years is very very low!!

For lack of a project to work on in the car
while waiting to pick up Luke from school, I started re-reading Remember me by Sophie Kinsella. It's not helping the above confession. And now, I want to say "Thank fvck" all the time.
I read that one a couple years ago when I discovered the author. What's funny to me is that my name is Lexi, my DH's name is Eric, and my sister's name is Aimee. Different spelling on the sister's name, but still a coincidence. :-)
smilingjb:
Did mine a day early, but I secretly
don't want to go back to regular pants after my pregnancy. I love the
no zipper option!
And I promised I'd second her! I don't want to go back to pants that fit in the waist, but are super baggy in the hips and legs. Or great fit everywhere else, but I can't zip them. Maternity pants forever! haha

I don't think Brad Pitt is attractive. At all.
Agreed! I would also add a lot of other male celebs to the list. NMS

Until the 11th grade I thought that people who were going to college to get engineering degrees were learning how to drive trains. I was so confused about how being a train engineer was still such a popular profession!
I have a MAJOR case of the first birthday blues Ian turns one tomorrow. I think since he's my last baby it's hitting me hard. This year went by way to fast.

W tested at having a 33% verbal delay. They want to see him again in May, but told me at this point they are not concerned. I am! I hate seeing/hearing about friends kids who are the same age or slightly younger saying thing besides noise. He has always been fairly quiet, but it is making me worry.
Not much of a confession, but something I have been stressing about and hadnt shared with many people.

I've worked at home the last 2 days & haven't brushed my hair or put on any makeup nor to I intend to until Sunday (dinner at the in-laws). On the plus side, I have taken a shower every day. My lunch consisted of 2 pieces of banana chocolate chip bread & I don't feel guilty about it at all. I love the Men's Room radio show on KISW from 2 pm - 6 pm & rarely ever miss listening to it

Huge hugs. Kai still doesnt talk, he says words and quite a few but doesnt actually talk. He is 2 1/2 most peoples children have conversations at this age. Eli has diagnosed issues and I am so terrified that I will be the mom with two sons in developmental preschool and speech therapy unless Kai starts talking soon.

I was so looking forward to a date night out with DH next Saturday night that has been planned for weeks. Now FIL calls during the week and says that they will be in town & to basically cancel our plans! I am peeved and told DH "Do what you want" - I know we haven't seen them in 4 months or so but serioulsy why this weekend? Grr!!
Cooper Flynn is 3 years old and growing! May 10,2009
Miscarriage April 2008
Ectopic pregnancy August 2011
DH is anti junk food, and tries to make sure that only healthy things go in the grocery basket. I am okay with this, but this pregnant momma has needs!
So, there is:
a bag of cheetos behind a stack of my jeans in the closet.
a few bars of dark chocolate tucked in the photo album on the book shelf.
and a nice big bag of jolly rancher candies in the back of the cupboard behind the extra bag of flour.
I feel like a horrible lier, but sometimes I just don't care!

Gosh he's so young for verbal stuff at all, I'm surprised they can even evaluate. I guess that's why they're not worried... I've been told time and time again that at this age - even Cooper's age - it's more important that they have receptive language. Cooper understands everything but only has a couple of words. and those are very very recent. Ben was very similar so I'm not worrying. Yet anyway. Hugs to you! I"m sure he'll be fine. Even if he needs some EI he'll be fine!
I dream about Adam Baldwin often. Usually he's Jayne Cobb, sometimes he's John Casey, sometimes he's just himself. Apparently my subconscious digs older men.
Are you a Firefly fan? I love Nathan Fillion/Malcolm Reynolds!
I was so hungry on my way home from work yesterday that I resorted to eating a pack of vegetable Mum Mums. They taste like rice cakes.

Maeve doesn't do anything but babble, no words so I feel you. I worry about that stuff too. zombie hugs!
My FFFC is that I had no idea Job had daughters much less what their names were.

Big hugs, Caldwell! As you know we have been through that and I know how hard it is when someone whose kid is younger than yours talks about the 847 words their kid is saying. You can vent to me any time. I know Walker will catch up but that doesn't make it any less stressful right now. If you have any questions about Max's experience or his speech therapy, let me know!

Thanks. I hope to see some kind of change by his 1 year appt. So far he has supassed his slight motor skill delay. I might meet you for coffee sometime and see how things were for you with M.

Hugs to you Caldwell! It's stressful worrying about your kids and how they are developing. Try to relax and know that W is a wonderful, smart little boy. I'll be thinking about you guys as you continue working with him!

((hugs)) I wish I could give you more than just support. W is such a delightful little man, try not to stress too much. But mommy instincts are hard to ignore, and you are doing such a great job!
Things have been slow in the Stella department and since sex begets sex, I put a weekly reminder on my calendar so that no matter what I seduce my husband.Last week I fell asleep at 4pm on the designated day and this week he was out until late.So much for scheduling sex to kick start things.
Yeah I'm so with you. I keep thinking I should start "scheduling" and then I'm too lazy to even do that. And soemthing always gets in the way.
I may or may not be dipping frozen Thin Mints in Cool Whip right now. It's low fat cool whip though so it's ok right?
This is the only way I eat them! I actually don't usually like mint and chocolate together, so Thin Mints aren't my fave (Samoas, though- yum!). But dipped in Cool Whip they are yummy!

Our Christmas tree is still up. We've been so lazy in taking anything down and now that we leave for Seattle next week, it'll likely stay up til we get back...in July.
Last year we got fined by the condo association for leaving our outdoor lights up too long - we didn't put them up this year though.
Caldwell , you just reminded me I was going to ask R's Dr about speech testing. I forgot to ask! He told us at his 1 year and 18 month appt to work on his speech, But really...what can I do?
he understand most everything and responses with nodding or shaking of his head or lots of grunts. Only recently has he been saying mommy, daddy, Aud-ree. He uses lots of sign language, but no real words. We too are worried about his lack of vocabulary at this point.
hugs to you and know you are not alone! I'm sure with a jabber of an older brother, he'll catch up fast. My dad always said to me as a kid... the worst thing I did was teach you to talk! Lol
