Not happy with my new doctor

I was transferred last week to a new doctor for delivery - some fancy high risk maternal fetal medicine dr. He's very anti-csection. Before I met with him, I was pretty set on scheduling the c-section for 39 weeks and trying for a vbac if I went into labor before then. With all of my high risk issues and everything that DID go wrong last pregnancy, I'm not very comfortable going much further than 39 weeks. Anyway - doing it this way was not an option and he said I had to decide one way or the other vbac or repeat c/s. So I told him yesterday to just schedule the c-section then. He of course was not happy with this so he proceeded to give me a lecture on if I have another c-section, I should get a tubal ligation. I told him I definitely did not want that AT ALL and he tells me I'd be cut off after 3 c-sections. Fine, DH only wants 2 kids and we're likely done anyway. So he tells me if DH turns out to be a huge jerk and I leave him, I need to make sure that I dont want to have that many more kids if I choose to have a c-section. I just don't see why I have to be so locked in to the c-section. I'm hoping I'll go into labor before my scheduled c/s, this dr will not be around, and whatever dr is there will let me try for a vbac if thats what I want with whatever circumstances arise. Ugh ... I miss my old OB so much

Can you call your old ob and get a different reference. With my ds I had the worst speicalist as well who told me she would see me on her c/s table since my induction wouldn't work and ds was too big,... my dr delivered my 7lb son vaginally after 6 hours of labor... the words bite me so wanted to be said.
Tfhis time I asked my dr to refer me to a different speicalist because I did not like the other one...and she did and the one she sent me too for dd was awesome, as was the other one in his practice who I ended up seeing mainly becuase of vacations and such.
