My dr is doing an ovarian challenge test (using Chlomid). He draws blood at CD3.I take Chlomid CD5-CD9. Draw blood at CD 10.?
Today is CD4 and I had blood draw yesterday. I called for my CD3 FSH result and it was 14.8. The nurse would not comment on the number and said that they look at the CD 10 number before they can tell me anything. Every internet search I have done sounds like 14.8 is a high FSH number (which is bad and indicated bad egg quality and diminished egg reserve).
Thoughts? ?What was your experience??
Re: High FSH?
Don't base your #s off the internet. According to my first RE, FSH numbers can vary based on the lab that does it, and different labs have different definitions of high. My first RE had a ceiling of 15 for normal, my second RE had a ceiling of 10. And my values were different in each lab.
I'd wait for the CD10 #s and go from there.
