who here is 39 weeks with no outside baby

I feel like everytime i log on here more march mommies have had their babies.  i am glad there is an end in sight.  At doctor appt. i was 2cm and 80% effaced.  She asks if i've felt contractions and i have not, i have not felt braxton hicks either.  Anyone else as far along as me and not felt a thing.  I am wondering if labor is just going to kick in one day for me , i just don't know how it will feel.  I keep looking for blood when i go to the bathroom but nothing yet.  can labor just start without bloody show or water breaking?

    Me, except I woke up with contractions so I may be going into labor...but then again it's looking more and more like false labor.  So ready for this kid to make his debut!

    Today is actually my due date and at my last week's appointment I was 0cm and 50% effaced.  I have another appointment today so I am hoping that I am at least progressing.  I have not had a bloody show yet either.  Sounds like we both have made to good of a home for our little ones:).

    Me too. 2-3cm dialated. I have an induction schedulede on Wednesday (which I would like to avoid), so am planning on getting accupuncture starting today. It can't hurt!. As of today; however, I have felt in increase in BH contractions. Hopefully that is a sign as I have felt nothing prior to this point.

    Just a little tightening and lots of Braxton Hicks. My baby is still pretty high, so they couldn't check my cervix. No nasty stuff when I go to the bathroom.

    I am 39 weeks, 4 days, still no baby. 1-2 cm dilated and 75% effaced. Like you I'm also not having any cramping or uncomfortable contractions as of yet. You may be having mild Braxton Hicks and not realizing it. I have them throughout the day, it's just a very tight feeling of the belly but not painful. My doctor said she expects that I'll go into labor this week because the baby's head is very low but this week is just a-rollin' on by and it's driving me crazy! Since you're 2 cm dilated and 80% effaced, your progress is great. Hang in there, the baby will come at the right time :) it's just very hard to wait!

    I'm due tomorrow and there's no end in sight.  I've been 1cm and very thick for a month now.  I've haven't experienced contractions or BH.  Well, I've felt a lot of tightening in my stomach, but nothing painful and not really anything that feels like cramps.

    Yesterday the doctor made arragements for me to have an ultrasound on Monday to do some testing just to make sure LO is doing okay in there.  She said it's routine and nothing to worry about, but we should pack our bags and bring them to the appointment just in case.  Would LOVE to have a baby on Monday!!   With my luck it won't happen and, if it doesn't, then I'll see the doc twice a week.

    We have the same due date (3/6), and I've pretty much felt nothing.  As of Wednesday, my cervix was closed up tight!   I've pretty much convinced myself that my due date is 3/14 (which is as late as they'd let me go), so that I won't be disappointed anymore. 

    Today I'll do 3 more miles on the treadmill (bringing the total to 22 in a week!) and some more housework in hopes of starting something! 

     My mom is convinced that the kid will be born today, but I'm fairly certain she'll be disappointed. 

    Baby Boy Born 3.15.11. 8lb 9oz, 21.75in. 6 month stats: 20lb 11oz (92%tile), 30.12in.(100%tile - who knew it went over 99th? Which means 100% of other 6 month olds are shorter than mine!)

    Still here, but DS came 6 days after my EDD so I'm not surprised.  I'm not doing internals yet, so luckily I don't know what may or may not be happening to mess with my head too much at this point.  Will probably do one next Thursday at my 40w2d appointment if it gets to that point again.  Have had some cramping and stuff that comes and goes over the past 2 weeks, but it's my second kiddo so I've heard that is very normal.  GL everyone!

    My due date is tomorrow.  I was 1-2 cm dilated, -2 station, and around 30% effaced at my last appt.  I am currently measuring 42 weeks, so I have another growth ultrasound scheduled for next Tuesday.  If he is over 10 lbs they are going to offer me an elective c-section.  If, by any miracle, he is closer to 9 lbs than we will discuss induction.  I am still hopeful that I might go into labor on my own.

    for those of you that are walking a lot , i'm impressed.  I can not walk down our street without taking a break, i get so out of breath and i can't even walk and talk at the same time.  I do an hour of housework and need a break.  Here's to hoping we don't have to wait much longer:)

    No outside baby for me yet at over 40 weeks, but hopefully that will change by tomorrow!  I've been having contractions since midnight and they are getting closer together!  No MP or water breaking, though.  At my 40 week appointment I was 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced.  We'll see what happens!

    I'm still here too :)  The average gestation for first time moms is supposed to be like 41weeks 1 day (as much as we all don't want to hear that!) so I'm trying to be patient.  I mean, she's not even late yet technically, even though I'd like her to make her arrival NOW.  I was 30% effaced and 1cm dilated at my 38 week appointment, and I didn't get checked at my 39 week - so I don't know what is going on down there and frankly, I don't think it means too much since everyone experiences labor so differently.  The midwife practice I go to doesn't induce until 42 weeks as well, so I could be pregnant quite a bit longer if baby decides to stay in.

    I am 39 weeks due on the 10th, and haven't felt anything either! Sometimes it feels like this baby will never come since at my 36 week internal appt the dr. said that the baby's head was all the way down and there was no way I'd make it to 40 weeks even though I was not dilated one bit. I'm upset that she said that to me because I rushed to get everything perfect and ready for the babe as soon as I got home! This has only made this past month drag slower than ever. I hope I don't go late since I was convinced I was going to be early! ugh, I just want my little stinker already!

    I'm due the 11th. I lost my MP Monday, at Tuesday's appt my cervix was still closed. I'm having cramping and stomach tightening, but LO is in no hurry to make her debut. Hoping I'll have made some progress by my appt next Tuesday. 

    My doctor won't talk induction until I'm a week over my due date, but if I haven't made any progress he says I'm just setting myself up for having to have an unnecessary c/s. So, just waiting to see what's going to happen.
