Hudson Ford is here!!!

Whew!  What a long week it's been.  Just writing a quick update in case anybody is wondering that all is well.  He was born via planned c-section & weighed 9 pounds, 10 ounces!  Estimated weight was 9.1 at one week before C. He is healthy & big, breastfeeding took about a week but we've finally figure it out.

The only thing was my spinal epidural didn't completely work & my doctor doesn't know why!  Has anyone else experienced that?  Anyway all's well that ends well but I'd like to know for the next baby.

    Congrats on your big healthy boy! I don't have any clue about the epidural, the only suggestion I can offer is that it wasn't done right.

    Congratulations!! I had a spotty epidural with DS too. It was horrible I felt a lot of my section. This time around I had a spinal and it was a world of difference. I also I have to tell u I love the name Hudson!! It was almost DS's name. I'm from the Hudson Valley in NY and I thought it was a great tribute to the home I love so much :)

    Google spotty epidural btw for more info. If you have another one chances are you'll have a section and you'll have a spinal block instead.
