Especially now that the weight gain recommendations are in flux, there's no "normal" anymore. If your OB isn't worried, then I'm sure you're fine.
I started my pregnancy pretty thin and I've probably gained less than 10 lbs - during my last pregnancy I gained 30 lbs total (although 10 lbs were water weight in the final few weeks). DS was plenty big and strong at birth, and I ate whatever/whenever I wanted to. I just think it's so different from person to person that as long as my OB is cool with it, then I'm cool with it.
I have to weigh in again today for my journal but as of last Thursday 19 weeks I was up almost 6lbs from starting weight but I lost 4 lbs from starting weight in first tri from ms. So I guess that puts me at 10 lbs.
I am 21 and up 14. I am not sure there is a "normal" anymore... As long as your eating reasonably and taking care of yourself your body will gain as much weight as it needs too. :-)
19 weeks now, and by next week hopefully 5lbs gained.
i switched jobs at 12 weeks. the 9lbs i had gained by then was lost, plus another 6lbs to boot between my 12 week and 17 week appointment. i went from sitting behind a desk to working with kids, lifting babies and running around ALLLLL day.
so hopefully by next week i'm up at least 5 lbs.

7 pounds. I just gained 2 in the last week and a half. Otherwise it was 5 for weeks and weeks.
My dr. wasn't worried but told me to eat more (I do already, on days I like food) but that's because I'm on the smaller side in the first place. He said straight up it would make me feel better in some ways, but it was fine for now.
Everyone's so different. By this time in my last pregnancy I had gained 15 pounds then it leveled.
if i remember correctly, the posts were "outlawed" because weight is not something that you can really judge using other people...you are going to gain weight at the rate that is healthy for you, and comparing to others on here is only a method of making people feel bad about themselves.
that said, since most people that have posted have listed gains much less than mine, i'll share that i'm 23 weeks and up 16 lbs. slightly more than "normal" but my doc said it's fine at my appt yesterday. if your doc was worried, they would tell you.

18w 5d at my appointment today...up 7lbs and my doctor told me I looked skinny! I thought she was going to make a comment because the 7lbs all came in the last week.

I'm 22 weeks and I've gained 4 lbs. My dr said it was fine and baby is on the smal side but not because I don't eat or haven't gained enough weight but because of genetics (mh and I are both shorties)!
I'll admit it. I am 22 weeks, and have gained 17 pounds. I was average weight before. My doctor is not concerned at all, I ask at every appointment. I eat healthy and exercise 5 days per week.
21 weeks and nothing! I was a teeny bit overweight to begin with (5'4" and 150) from my last baby - 7 months was not quite enough to lose the weight! So I suppose I'm sitting about where I should at this point!

I am 19 weeks and I have gained 5lb. I clearly look as though I have gained a small, dense watermelon. I think the baby may be stealing off of the 15lb I have left over in my butt and thighs from DD's birth a short 2 years ago
Also, I have a friend who gained NOTHING with each of her boys, and after the last one was born, she nursed and lost like 20lb! Sweet! One of my friends said her mom gained like 85lb with her- surely couldn't tell today, the woman has a super thin build Everyone is different!
Re: how much weight have you gained?
21 and 15. I know it's because this baby makes me want to eat chocolate.
It's average according to the nurse at my doc's office.
BTW I responded but I thought we outlawed weight posts.

I'm about 1500 weeks and up maybe 150 pounds from birth in 1981.

20w, 5 lbs.
As long as your doctor says it's normal, then it's normal. Internet strangers comparing isn't going to make one person's gain healthy or not.
