Day 15 and ready to shoot someone!

Hi everyone... I've been toying with other boards... hoping this is less depressing than some of the others.

I'm in the process of a m/c (woohoo.)  Actually- I'm dealing with this pretty well emotionally (it was pretty early, and I never had the chance to really "feel" pregnant).  Not looking for sympathy (i've already gotten the all so kind "sorry for your loss"'s) just looking for.... idk, a place to vent...

 So I'm on day 15 of bleeding.  I mean, I know some people go longer, and I hate to complain, but JEEZE! I want sex so badly I could scream... I'm tired of feeling cramped and bloated, and I have not worn a maxi pad since high school- so ready for this to be over to start trying again!!!

I deserve a treat...  maybe a shamrock shake.

    Ok- here we go!

    I'm 27 (actually could not remember if I was 27 or 28 and had to put it in the calculator just now).

    Married- just over a year. Together 7 years.

    TTC for about 6 months.

    I had cut back drinking significantly while TTC, but let loose on New Years Eve (conveniently our anniversary) and BAM- two weeks later had a BFP!  Over a month, multiple blank ultrasounds and some misoprostol later, here I am :).

    Thanks, Serendipitie, for calling out my lack of an intro.... I've been bouncing a little around boards- depressed by the m/c board... kinda bored with the TTC board...but getting a kick out of the Snarky board.

    Hell, who hasn't floated dip's boat?  LOL--I literally floated IN dip's boat---I had a picture once to prove it.

    He's the single greatest thing I've done in my life and reminds me daily of how fun (and funny) life can be.  He's turned out pretty swell for having such a heartless and evil mother.

    Rawr is right! I think Balls floated in Callie's REAL boat, and Balls floated in my fake-ish boat at the Mouse House. But I agree we all need to go float in a boat together :) Preferably a boat somewhere in the tropics

    Well, three different m/c and three different bleed patterns and wanted to share some advice from the first one. I bleed for three months (yes, count them... three) and it took until two months for my incompetant family practice doc to refer me to OB (military medical, I can't go straight there... need a referral for everything from family practice). Anyway, it finally turned out that I had bleed for about two weeks (m/c #1), ovulated while bleeding, concieved again, and was actually slowly bleeding during that whole pregnancy until at about 8 weeks (my doc said my pregnancy blood tests were neg bc he thought it was "just hormones left over from the last pregnancy"... uh, 10,000 at a month 6-wks post m/c? Idiots...) when I finally hemoraged and miscarried baby #2.

       Anyway, I don't share all this in a bid for sympathy at all, but as a warning to make sure you are in tune with your post-m/c body and if the length of the bleeding doesn't feel right to you, than it's probably not, so keep hounding your doc til they figure out what's wrong. I wasn't assertive enough in time to give my baby a fighting chance, but hopefully my ignorance and blind adherance to what my doctor said will help someone else in a similar situation.

       Anyway, hope you've stopped bleeding by now, but if it doesn't stop... follow up, and up and up until you are back to "normal." Good luck, girl!
