When we were put back on pelvic rest this week, we were told nothing in the vagina (tampons, douching, intercourse), and nothing that would upset the cervix. She didn't mention anything about orgasms... (although we didn't ask!)
ETA: Our diagnosis is placenta previa, although it's early, so it could (and hopefully will) move on its own.
depends on why you are on it. I have a subchorionic hematoma, so it is both for me.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!

Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
I believe it's both because o'ing may make your uterus contract as well. I'd ask your OB for clarificatoin on what he considers pelvic rest to entail though

IVF # 1 ~ Antagonist ~ ER 1/27/11~ ET 1/30/11 ~ + HPT 7dp3dt
DD born med-free on 10/24/11
Usually pelvic rest means no sex and no O either.
ETA: Oing makes your uterus contract which if you are on pelvic rest, you don't want it to do that.
