This flashes me back to 1995 like *that*. Sitting with my BFF on the floor in my room thinking deep thoughts and burning candles and incense. Maybe other things, too.

Senior year? Wear Sunscreen, Angel, Guerrilla Radio (RATM), Mambo #5, Counting the Days (Goldfinger), Steal my Sunshine, Nookie.

I'd really rather focus on 1995 and 1996. 1997-1999 sucked ass.

Good ones, Jennie! These take me back, too.

  • I graduated in 1996, so anything by DMB from the Under the Table and Dreaming album, "These Are Days" by 10000 Maniacs was our "senior song".  Definitely "Wonderwall", oh and I remember rockin' out to Alanis' first CD in my car on the way to school - I had to hide it from my parents b/c she dropped the F-bomb in that one song.  I felt like such a rebel, ha!

Oh Alanis!!!  I almost forgot about her!  "Head Over Heels" is another one for me.  And thanks to this post I've been singing "Biggie Biggie Biggie can't you see....." all afternoon. So I guess you can add "Hypnotize" to my list too.  Cool

  • Pretty much anything from the 80's.  I'm so old I don't even really remember specific songs unless I hear them.  And you don't hear them anymore, unless you're doing "Sweatin' to the Oldies" or listening to an 80's channel.
