    Poor little guy is finally getting over his cold.  He's been congested since Saturday.  Thankfully he's been happy sick instead of miserable whiny sick like his daddy.

    Ava was in the hospital when she was five weeks old with RSV. Thankfully she has had a clean bill of health since.

    I wonder how the precautions we take with LO factor into whether they get sick or not. I have noticed that some parents are paranoid about exposure to germs; sanitizer within arms reach at all times.  Are their children more likely not to experience illness?

     Or are the children of the Laissez-faire parents the ones who are healthier as they are gradually build up their immune systems?

    LO was congested for about 3 days. She got the congestion from me and has now passed it to DH.

    I clicked the minor one, but it wasn't a cold.  LO had pink eye a few weeks ago (ick!) but it wasn't anything that a few drops didn't clear up in 24 hours.  And he could have cared less!

    My breastfed baby has had a cold and a virus that involved vomiting!  I guess I don't pass on good antibodies. :)  He's not in daycare (yet) or out and about often either - which means either my husband or I gave it to him.  I'm scared for daycare next week!!

    M has had every virus that her big brother has had - thanks preschool! :( She's currently very poorly, vomitting, coughinh, making being happy very difficult...

    my DH got sick the day after G was born, while we were still in the hospital. he just used a lot of sanitizer, and G never got sick. i get sick about once every 2 years, and now that i'm a SAHM, i'll probably be sick even less.. so we're hoping G's got my immune system!
