feeling broken too

just got another call. my estrogen levels are dropping instead of rising, for the second time in two days doctor offered me the chance to cancel the cycle. he said IVF is still our best chance. said he would pray for me.

And now for the fourth time in a week I am a sobbing mess.  I just don't understand.

    Oh lovey.  I am so sorry that you are going through this.  Did he offer an alternative protocol for preventing this in the future? I really hope this resolves, so you can finish the cycle.  Tons of {{{HUGS}}} and vibes to you.

    Crap, I'm just so sorry. The roller coaster you've been on this week has been unbelievable.  I hope there is something they can do to keep this from happening again next cycle.

    Oh my...I am so so sorry.  I know how hard this is.  Maybe he can change your protocol for the next cycle.  That is what my body needed after my failed cycle in October.  I'll be thinking of you and sending you some hugs!

    IVF #1.2 for June '10 - Gonal-f, Menopur, and micro Lupron
    ER - 6/19 (2 retrieved), ET - 6/22 (1 transferred with ICSI), Beta 7/5 = BFFN
    IVF #2 for Nov '10 was cancelled due to poor response - Follistim, Repronex, and micro Lupron
    IVF #2.2 for Feb '11 - Gonal-f, Repronex, and Ganirelix
    ER - 2/24 (8 retrieved), ET - 3/1 (2 transferred with ICSI), froze 3, Beta 3/11 = BFFN
    FET - 4/19 (3 transferred), Beta 4/28 = BFP, EDD 1/4/12

    thank you for the support and encouragement girls.  We are going to have to have a longer discussion with my doc sometime soon and a different protocol will definitely be one of the talking points.  but then I also know he used a very aggressive protocol this time. who knows. thank you again.
